Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate across JPMC Wholesale credit risk functions on regulatory exams and external audits for the firm's Commercial & Investment Bank in UK/EMEA and APAC.
- Provide strategic guidance and independent challenge to credit teams' responses, including rationale for risk ratings and credit strategy. Advise credit teams on presenting credit rationale or credit process under review.
- Lead calls to prepare credit teams for meetings with Regulators or Audit.
- Ensure consistency of responses and review for appropriate messaging.
- Coordinate responses to Regulator and Audit questions by engaging subject matter experts.
- Identify exam and audit issues and escalate as needed, and manage Exam or Audit infrastructure including SharePoint site, tracker, and logistical tools.
- Provide Lessons Learned and observations after Exams and Audits to enhance future performance.
- Analyze data via Excel or other tools and visually summarize key insights.
- Lead and coordinate responses to Regulator questions and requests.
- Identify ways to improve processes to enhance quality and productivity.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, and partner on various credit risk projects.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate management-related job experience required.
- Strong credit and financial statement analysis skills.
- Ability to understand and apply wholesale credit concepts.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously.
- Strong governance and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Wholesale credit risk experience, along with policy, compliance, regulatory management, or governance work experience.
- Ability to work in partnership with others, influence change, and accomplish goals.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities outside your immediate area of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge of other types of risk (market risk, counterparty risk, operational risk) a plus.
- Experience with SharePoint and Data visualization tools a plus.
- Project Management experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SharePoint and Data visualization tools a plus.
