About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Divisional Growth Director who will report to the Head of National Sales within Wealth & Investment Management. This dynamic leader will be responsible for managing a team of Market Growth Directors across the Western division who support advisors on growing their practice and revenue across a broad range of products and tools including investments, banking, lending, and planning. The Divisional Growth Director will also work closely with Channel Leadership to drive product and platform sales.

In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of Market Growth Directors focused on growth drivers including Net Asset Flows (NAF), lending, and deposits
- Collaborate and consult with Divisional Leaders and peers to monitor development of strategic initiatives for growth
- Focus on achieving Division growth and financial objectives while also ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and policies
- Direct partnership and coordination with Division and Market leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive productivity across all channels
- Support Division and Market leaders implementing strategies and business tactics to drive revenue through business initiatives that enable Advisors to fully leverage centers of excellence (COEs), bringing the full Firm to our clients
- Engage and influence key stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes.
- 8+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) exams to qualify for immediate FINRA registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Extensive experience in wealth management and investment sales environments, with a deep understanding of advisor business models, client needs, and full balance sheet strategies including investment, lending, and deposit solutions
- Proven success in managing a team across market territories, including strategic planning, execution, performance tracking, and adapting to changing market conditions and firm priorities
- Experience designing and implementing strategies to grow revenue
- Demonstrated ability to understand clients, define client needs, build trust, set and manage expectations
- Sales and Growth management experience
- Experience in managing relationships at an executive level
- Completion of Series 9/10 or Series 24 in first 18-24 months of job
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
- This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
