Who We Are
We are the Finance team of WEBTOON Entertainment, a NASDAQ-listed company, responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual financial accounting close, external audit support, and financial support for business units. You will gain experience across the full scope of accounting management at a transparent, highly sophisticated global public company — including content-platform-specific policies. We are looking for someone who wants to expand their financial career by proactively driving the closing process, taking ownership of decision-making, continuously improving closing efficiency by actively leveraging AI, and actively supporting the business units' various new business initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Perform monthly/quarterly/annual financial accounting close and provide financial support to business units
- Conduct monthly P&L analysis and establish accounting policies
- Review financial accounting issues and support/respond to external audits
- Plan and drive improvements to closing-related processes and systems, including the active use of AI to increase efficiency
- Actively communicate with the finance teams of WEBTOON group affiliates in Korea, Japan and Canada to enhance the completeness and reliability of financial closing
Required Experience
- 7~12 years of experience in US-GAAP or IFRS accounting and standalone/separate financial closing
- Experience supporting and responding to external audits at a publicly listed company
- Strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics, with a proactive approach to work
- Skilled in internal/external communication and flexible in collaboration
- Fluent in both Korean and English
- Proactive in leveraging AI to improve processes and drive efficiency
Preferred Experience
- Accounting certification(s) (CPA)
- Experience in the IT/platform industry
- Experience preparing for the adoption of new accounting standards and establishing accounting policies
- Experience improving closing-related processes/systems
- Experience applying AI or automation tools to accounting/finance processes
