We are seeking an ambitious Advertising Sales Representative to join our US Ads team. The Sales Representative will support key revenue streams by strategically engaging prospects, advancing opportunities through the sales funnel, and fostering strong client relationships in a highly collaborative team environment.
This is a Temp-to-Hire role designed to identify a top-tier candidate for a long-term, full-time Advertising Sales Representative position. Candidates must meet the full-time caliber expectations from day one, focusing on strategic collaboration and high-quality contributions to team revenue.
Initially, you will be hired as a 6-month temporary position. Following a successful performance evaluation at the 6-month mark, you will convert to a permanent, full-time employee.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Funnel Management & Team Revenue
- Drive business growth by engaging prospects and mid-market advertisers and agencies within an assigned territory or vertical, contributing directly to achieving overall team revenue goals.
- Oversee the sales process from initial pitch and client education through negotiation and deal commitment, leveraging internal support teams for technical and commitment expertise.
- Develop and present custom, compelling digital advertising solutions that align with client business objectives.
- Proactively collaborate with peers to strategize on complex accounts, share best practices, and ensure cohesive market coverage, avoiding competitive internal dynamics.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship & Strategy
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
- Assist with responding to RFP’s and providing strategic recommendations
- Coordinate with Sales Support and Ad Operations teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Assist with campaign set up and ensure all ads are being served correctly
- Provide accurate and reliable updates on opportunities and account health to contribute to team-wide forecasting and pipeline planning in Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities: Market Expertise
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and our evolving product suite to effectively position our solutions.
- Utilize advanced market research (e.g., MediaRadar, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to identify and prioritize high-potential accounts for team engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of demonstrated success in a sales, account management, or business development role, preferably selling digital media, programmatic, or advertising solutions.
- Proven ability to thrive in a team-based, collaborative sales environment with a focus on collective success over individual targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.).
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
- High proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline reporting.
- Must be highly organized, self-directed, and possess a strong commitment to team goals.
- Interest in advertising, digital media, and entertainment/fandom culture (e.g., comics, anime, novels, or pop culture) is a plus.
- Location Requirement: Must be a resident and legally authorized to work in Los Angeles, CA.
