Who is Eleos Health?

Today, more people than ever are speaking publicly about their mental health. Whether it's ourselves, our friends and family or even public figures, taking care of your behavioral health is no longer a taboo, it's vital, and it's only human.
Eleos is on a mission to help deliver the world's most effective behavioral care through data, measurement, and personalization. Or simply put, we want to give clinicians the support they need to do the important work only they can do.

What is this opportunity?

We are looking for a Website Optimization Specialist to join our growing Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Brand & Content. You will be responsible for owning everything pertaining to the Eleos website—including measuring performance and developing plans to optimize traffic and conversion; partnering with our web development agency to design and implement UX and navigability enhancements; project-managing the addition of new pages or other site elements; identifying and fixing errors; and more. As a member of a small but mighty team of marketing A-players, you’ll get plenty of peer support—but you’ll also have ample autonomy.

Who are you?

You’re an experienced web guru who understands holistic web development—and the connection between SEO, UX, and well-written code. You thrive in a world where days don’t always look the same, and you’ll be able to flex more than just one skillset. You can use a drag-and-drop editor, write code, and understand the basics of kickass design and CRO. (Bonus points if you know how to optimize and A/B test while you’re at it!) You don’t settle for “good enough,” but also know that perfect is the enemy of good. In short, you love great web design, and can craft the pages that take a great story into a * chef’s kiss * user experience. This role will balance needs of content, sales, and agency teams as well as users.

How will you contribute?
  • Build landing pages, pillar pages, and general site content—or direct our third-party dev agency to do so.

  • Continuously monitor existing content performance and optimize for conversion and A/B testing.

  • Schedule content on our website, blog, and social media accounts using content management tools like WordPress and Hubspot.

  • Partner with the content team to monitor, develop, and execute SEO strategies—including optimization for AI engines.

  • Use best practices to develop website SOPs, and ensure new content is built to standard—and beyond.

  • Partner with our dev agency to manage technical site needs, such as hosting, plugins, and maintenance.

  • Improve on existing website CMS “blocks” to build a more intuitive, user-friendly interface/backend.

  • Execute website user testing—and lead the execution of improvements!

  • Fearlessly and honestly work toward the best possible web experience, internally and externally.

  • Educate us non-devs on changing best practices from a holistic perspective—not just with respect to code.

What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?
  • 3-5+ years of experience in holistic web development, design, UX dev/design, and website performance analysis

  • Prior experience in healthcare or healthcare IT/SaaS (experience in the behavioral/mental health vertical is a major plus)

  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), website builders (e.g. ACF), website hosting platforms (e.g., WPEngine), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong research skills to stay up-to-date on website dev best practices

  • Self-starter who is proactive, reliable, and accountable

  • Creative thinker with the ability to identify and act on new website opportunities

  • Solid project management skills

  • General breadth of knowledge across the web spectrum

This is a unique opportunity to join a startup that has a meaningful impact on thousands' well-being and mental health.
We have
  • A product that positively impacts people's lives every single day.

  • A team of amazing people with a shared vision and the infinite drive to make it happen

  • The base pay range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.

  • In addition to your compensation, we offer wide and generous health benefits, significant equity and 401(k) plans matched to 4%

  • Flexible PTO + Additional mental health days off you can take any given moment simply because you need them.

  • Fully remote work environment, this role is fully remote.

  • Opportunity to build, grow, and become highly instrumental in shaping how technology can increase the effectiveness of therapy.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
