ABOUT EMPOWERLY
Empowerly is a fast-growing ed-tech company on a mission to empower students to become the most successful version of themselves. Our platform combines expert college counseling with proprietary tools like the Empowerly Score™, offering families a 360° view of their child’s college readiness — across academics, essays, and extracurriculars.
We’ve raised $30 million from top-tier investors including Goodwater Capital, Conductive Ventures, FJ Labs, Scrum Ventures, Translink Capital, Azure Capital Partners, and Spero Ventures.
Empowerly is a founder-led company that has grown through SEO-driven performance marketing. We’ve now invested heavily in scaling a diversified GTM motion across Sales, Events, B2C, Partnerships, and Business Development and we’re looking to grow our revenue by 150–200%+ in the coming phase. This role will be critical to helping us make that leap.
We operate on a remote-first basis, building a team of individuals who excel in remote environments and are passionate about making high-quality college counseling accessible to all students, regardless of their background or location.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll own Empowerly’s webinar program end to end and be trusted to turn live and on-demand experiences into real student and family outcomes. This role is built for someone who genuinely enjoys the full lifecycle of a webinar, from shaping the topic and message, to driving registrations, to delivering a polished live experience, and ultimately to generating qualified leads and enrolled families. You understand that webinar performance isn’t about registrations alone, but about attendance quality, pipeline contribution, conversion velocity, and long-term impact on the business.
You’ll be responsible for setting the webinar strategy and roadmap, defining where and how webinars fit into Empowerly’s acquisition engine, and building the systems that allow the program to scale efficiently. You’ll work closely with lifecycle, paid social, SDR, creative, and data partners to align messaging, promotion, follow-up, and sales handoff, using performance insights to continuously refine content, formats, and targeting. Experimentation will be core to your work, with ongoing testing across topics, speakers, formats, reminder flows, and funnel stages to drive incremental improvements and repeatable wins.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote, results-driven environment, takes pride in operational excellence, and enjoys translating complex workflows and data into clean, reliable systems. If you get energized by building programs that consistently generate high-quality pipeline, improving conversion from interest to action, and knowing your work directly helps families make confident decisions about their education and future, this role will feel both challenging and deeply meaningful.
Webinar Program Strategy and Optimization
- Define the 12-month webinar roadmap and content strategy aligned with core business objectives, ICPs, and sales pipeline targets.
- Establish and enforce rigorous program performance KPIs (e.g., CPL, MQL-to-Pipeline conversion rate, attendance rates) and drive continuous A/B testing and optimization to improve efficiency.
- Architect the end-to-end webinar tech stack and processes (Zoom, HubSpot, project management, data handoff) to maximize automation, data integrity, and scalability.
- Lead the exploration, vetting, and integration of new technologies and vendor relationships to elevate the webinar experience and output (e.g., interactive platforms, on-demand integrations).
- Develop a scalable model for running multiple, simultaneous webinar tracks (e.g., leveraging contractors, internal producers, or on-demand content)
Copywriting and Creative
- Write high-quality ad copy for paid social, meta descriptions, landing page copy, email reminders, and SMS reminders.
- Ensure all public-facing webinar content is compelling, accurate, and on-brand.
- Support creative development with structured briefs for designers.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Systematically source, onboard, and train internal SMEs/speakers, developing a roster of polished, high-performing presenters.
- Communicate webinar dates, assets, and updates to lifecycle, SDR, paid social, and design teams.
- Deliver standardized reminder flows (SMS, email, Zoom reminders) and optimize messaging over time.
Advanced Data and Reporting
- Lead all performance analysis and reporting for the webinar program, translating data into actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish a robust measurement framework to track the entire attendee journey from registration through to closed-won revenue, attributing ROI to the program.
- Ensure data governance across all systems (CRM, MAP, Webinar Platform) to maintain list health, segmentation accuracy, and compliance.

- Advanced proficiency with key marketing systems: Zoom Webinars/Events, HubSpot (or equivalent MAP/CRM), and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use data (e.g., funnel metrics, A/B test results) to drive strategic decisions and program investment.
- Comfort with high-volume work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work PST hours for primary webinar delivery (typically 2–7 PM PST).
- Strong Copywriting abilities for landing pages and potentially ad creatives.

What does Empowerly offer?
A great deal of your fulfillment at any company is determined by the extent to which the values of the people and the organization align with your own. It’s hard to assess culture from the outside and most companies are not good at describing their own nature. (How do fish describe water?) They also have incentives to say things that sound attractive rather than things that are true. We’ve tried to assemble characteristics. This is our best attempt to share an honest description of our culture today. We hope you find it useful in deciding whether Empowerly is the kind of place in which you’d like to spend your time.
