Position Summary

Responsible for vulnerability management administration and day-to-day SOC operations. Utilize tools such as Rapid7 and Orca to identify, evaluate, and prioritize vulnerabilities discovered in the RxSense environment.

Work closely with teams such as DevOps, DBA, and IT to manage vulnerabilities to remediation. This is a hybrid role with approximately 60% of time spent managing vulnerabilities, and the remaining time spent performing Security Operation Center (SOC) duties. These duties include monitoring security alerts using various tools, performing investigations, and contributing to the Incident Response process. Work with the Infrastructure Security Manager to establish annual budgets and performance goals for respective areas.

Must be aware of, and comply with, all aspects of the RxSense Information Security Program including ensuring infrastructure is in full compliance with all security requirements and best practices, including HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC2, and HITRUST.

Responsibilities:
  • Primary administration of the Vulnerability Management process
  • Must possess a proactive approach towards infrastructure security
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methods
  • Oversight of security monitoring solutions to provide quick issue response and resolution
  • Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing and fast paced environment
  • Project planning and management
  • Technology vendor collaboration
  • Present technical concepts and create technical documentation
  • Must be a team player
  • Self-starter, must be able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with others to find a common solution
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of vulnerability management programs
  • Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and Mac endpoints
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technology Professional with an emphasis on security
  • Thorough understanding of Security Operations
  • Experience with Threat Detection and Response
  • Understanding of End Point Protection solutions
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention concepts and methods
  • Knowledge of Incident Response Management
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM)
  • Moderate to strong knowledge and experience of cloud computing environments
  • Strong interpersonal and interdepartmental communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
  • Certifications a plus

Salary Range: 80,000 - 100,000
