Responsibilities

 

·      Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement forward-thinking visual merchandising strategies that align with SKIMS’ brand ethos, ensuring an elevated and cohesive customer experience across all retail platforms.

·      Leadership & Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing visual merchandising team, fostering creativity, professional growth, and a collaborative culture.

·      Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, design, retail operations, and sales teams to create visually engaging and cohesive product presentations for new launches, seasonal campaigns, and special projects.

·      Retail & Display Innovation: Strategically plan store layouts, window displays, and in-store experiences to captivate audiences, increase foot traffic, and drive sales conversions.

·      Global Standards & Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of global visual merchandising guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all markets, both physical and digital.

·      Data-Driven Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and performance data to refine visual merchandising strategies, ensuring continuous innovation and measurable business impact.

·      Vendor & Budget Management: Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships for display materials, maintaining high-quality standards within budget constraints.

·      Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy: Ensure visual merchandising practices embrace diversity and inclusion, reflecting SKIMS’ commitment to representing and resonating with a broad audience.

 

Requirements

 

·      Proven expertise in developing and executing visually compelling merchandising strategies in a retail environment, with a strong focus on brand alignment and customer engagement.

·      Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative display concepts that drive customer interaction and revenue growth.

·      Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and data analytics to inform merchandising strategies and forecast future needs.

·      Experience collaborating across design, production, and marketing teams to ensure seamless storytelling through merchandise presentation.

·      Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

·      Proficiency in digital tools for creating virtual merchandising plans, prototypes, and layouts.

·      Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to oversee complex projects from concept to execution while meeting deadlines and objectives.

·      Ability to manage global merchandising standards while balancing regional and cultural nuances.
