Job Description Summary

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for building and leading a robust, agile, and motivated sales team. This position requires outstanding problem-solving, analytical and communication skills; and experience leading and closing enterprise-level vacation rental management solutions for property managers and owners. The VP of Sales will work cross-functionally across the organization and closely with the Executive team.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the that drives revenue growth, market share, and brand recognition.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, enhancing their skills and capabilities to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key prospects, industry groups, customers, and channel partners, understanding their needs to drive tailored solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Lead the identification trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
  • Sales Performance: Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs in partnership with division sales leadership team. Regularly monitor rep and manager progress while implementing corrective actions, as necessary, to achieve and exceed objectives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the revenue operations team to ensure the optimization of sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with operations and enablement leadership and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Plan Management: Partner with RevOps leadership, FP&A, and Chief Revenue Officer to develop and manage to annual bookings targets as well as sales team budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the executive team, outlining successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, and at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a strong emphasis on SaaS software solution
  • Experience leading sales activities within the vacation rental management market
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and sales processes
  • Proficiency in reporting and process design for Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint)

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required.

  • We have an in-office work style, with most team members working in the office from Monday to Thursday and remotely on Friday
