About the Role

The VP of Sales will own Pirros’ revenue strategy, sales execution, and new customer growth. This person will lead the sales organization, develop a repeatable and scalable sales process, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds revenue targets.

This is a hands-on leadership role and will coach and manage the sales team while remaining closely involved in major opportunities, strategic accounts, forecasting, pipeline development, and deal execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader who can balance strategy with execution. They understand how to build high-performing teams, create accountability, improve sales operations, and successfully sell a technical B2B SaaS product to sophisticated customers.

As Pirros continues to grow, the VP of Sales will play a critical role in increasing revenue, expanding market presence, and building the sales foundation required for the company’s next stage.

What You’ll Do
  • Own Pirros’ sales strategy, revenue plan, and lead, manage, coach, and develop the Sales and Business Development teams

  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, territories, and accountability across the organization

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation and discovery through negotiation and close

  • Personally support and lead strategic, complex, and high-value opportunities

  • Develop accurate revenue forecasts and provide clear pipeline reporting to company leadership

  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline coverage, deal velocity, and other key metrics

  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead generation, positioning, messaging, and campaign effectiveness

  • Partner with Customer Success to support smooth customer handoffs, renewals, expansion, and long-term account growth

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to communicate market feedback, customer needs, objections, and competitive insights

  • Improve sales enablement, onboarding, training, messaging, playbooks, and objection-handling resources

  • Build and continuously improve a repeatable, scalable sales process

  • Develop compensation plans and incentive structures that align sales performance with company goals

  • Represent Pirros with customers, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders

What You’ll Own
  • Revenue performance — Pirros consistently meets or exceeds its new business and growth targets

  • Sales team performance — the team is coached, accountable, motivated, and operating at a high level

  • Pipeline development — the organization maintains sufficient, high-quality pipeline to support revenue goals

  • Forecasting accuracy — leadership has a reliable and transparent view of expected revenue

  • Sales process — Pirros has a disciplined, repeatable, and scalable approach to winning new customers

  • Deal execution — strategic opportunities move forward with urgency and close successfully

  • Market feedback — Product, Marketing, and leadership understand what prospects need, value, and object to

What We’re Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience helping scale ARR from ~$10 million to $50 million in B2B SaaS sales

  • Proven success meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment

  • Strong coaching, leadership, and performance-management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Strong forecasting, pipeline-management, and sales-analytics capabilities

  • Experience selling technical workflow, collaboration, document-management, or vertical SaaS products

  • Expert with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar sales platforms

  • Experience developing sales playbooks, compensation plans, territory models, forecasting processes, and enablement programs

Nice to Have
  • Experience selling software to architecture, engineering, construction, BIM, Revit, or AEC customers

  • Existing relationships within the architecture, engineering, construction, or design technology industries

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
