Clearco is the non-dilutive working capital solution for e-commerce businesses in the United States. Clearco’s unique Invoice Funding product allows companies to access funding for invoices and receipts for inventory, marketing expenses, shipping, and logistics. Clearco offers capped weekly payments and does not require collateral or personal guarantees from its customers. Founded in 2015, Clearco has funded over 10,000 businesses with $2.5BN invested.

We are growing Clearco to help customers win for the long term. A key element of Clearco’s go-forward strategy is our B2B sales approach. The VP of Revenue, reporting directly to the CEO, will lead our full revenue motion — spanning both net-new sales and post-sales — and be responsible for driving growth while maintaining strong unit economics, top-line and bottom-line performance, and overall departmental effectiveness.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive strategic growth and increase sales of Clearco’s financial products.

  • Lead two net-new revenue sales teams, the post-sales (Account Management/CS) function, and the BDR team.

  • Build and scale a high-performance sales culture rooted in accountability, ownership, and results.

  • Optimize Clearco’s sales funnel by driving efficient top-of-funnel activity and maximizing lead-to-close conversion.

  • Own the economics of your function — drive growth while maintaining cost discipline and profitability.

  • Partner with Marketing to sharpen Clearco’s competitive differentiation and go-to-market strategy.

  • Design and implement predictable, repeatable, and scalable revenue processes.

  • Own accountability for the measurement, tracking, and reporting of key performance metrics across sales and marketing.

  • Forecast and report on revenue performance across monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences.

  • Leverage technology and data analytics to inform targeted buyer engagement strategies.

  • Attract, hire, and retain top talent across sales, post-sales, and business development.

  • Lead, coach, and grow a developing team of sales professionals with a focus on driving engagement and delivering results.

You will thrive if you:

  • Have 10+ years of proven success hitting revenue and growth targets, ideally in the financial products or fintech space.

  • Have experience leading full-cycle sales organizations, including both new business and post-sales/account management teams.

  • Have a track record of building and managing high-performing BDR teams that drive qualified pipeline.

  • Have experience working within a structured operating model and collaborating cross-functionally with strong focus on direct-to-business sales and capital products.

  • Have experience in SMB and Mid-Market sales cycles.

  • Bring a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable using data to drive decisions and performance.

  • Are a player-coach — no job is too small. You’re hands-on, collaborative, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

  • Thrive in a data-driven, results-oriented, and fast-paced environment.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and incentives, plus comprehensive health and dental insurance.

  • RRSP / 401k matching.

  • Work from home with a stipend to create your ideal environment.

  • Professional development and mental health support opportunities.

  • Flexible time-off policy.

  • Fertility, hormonal health, and family-forming benefits.

Clearco is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate our inclusive work environment and welcome members of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply. We embrace differences and know that our diverse team is our strength and what drives our innovation.

Clearco is committed to developing a barrier-free recruitment process and work environment. If you require any accommodation, please let us know, and we’ll work with you to meet your accessibility needs.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
