THE OPPORTUNITY

The Vice President (VP), Project Manager plays a strategic leadership role within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects. This position leads the development and execution of project plans, manages budgets and resources, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The VP, Project Manager is accountable for stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and the delivery of high-impact initiatives on time and within scope. This role requires a strong command of project management methodologies, exceptional communication and analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and deliver results in a dynamic financial services environment. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead the execution of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables
  • Strong background in deployments related to card acquiring, issuing, and other payment-focused technologies
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses against approved plans
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders
  • Conduct project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation and issue resolution plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes
  • Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field AND/OR relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
  • PMP certification is a plus

SALARY RANGE

The full-time base salary range for this position is $101,000.00 - $150,000.00 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
