Position Summary 

The Vice President of Product Management – Marketplace Products will own the vision, strategy, and execution for MacroHealth’s emerging Marketplace product portfolio. This leader will define product strategies, oversee delivery, and ensure commercial success across offerings designed for new and evolving healthcare markets. 

As a key member of the Product Leadership Team, the VP will collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer and senior leaders across Engineering, Market Development, Marketing, and Sales. They will coach and grow a team of product professionals while shaping the broader product management discipline at MacroHealth. 

This role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and entrepreneurial drive. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, builds clarity from complexity, and inspires teams to deliver innovative solutions with measurable customer and market impact. The role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.


Key Accountabilities  

  • Lead the Marketplace product portfolio from strategy through execution, ensuring delivery of customer value and achievement of commercial objectives.
  • Define and articulate product vision, value propositions, and positioning for Marketplace products.
  • Partner with Market, Segment, and Go-to-Market leaders to build roadmaps, set priorities, and align execution across teams.
  • Drive product development with Engineering and cross-functional partners, from requirements through launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategy, product positioning, pricing, and sales enablement tools.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product team, providing coaching, career development, and performance management.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders to gather insights and represent MacroHealth as a thought leader.
  • Lead "build vs. buy vs. partner" analyses for new offerings and market opportunities.
  • Ensure effective commercialization and launch plans are developed and executed across functions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution excellence within the product team.

Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software and/or healthcare product management experience, with proven success leading enterprise software products from concept through lifecycle.
  • Comes to work every day with a “Can-Do” attitude, passion for our customers/industry, and a genuine drive to “Get Sh*t Done” 
  • Strong experience within healthcare technology, particularly with health plans, networks, or payers (provider and pharmacy exposure a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow product portfolios and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Experience scaling teams and organizations, ideally in high-growth software companies (Series A–C).
  • Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-based solutions, with working knowledge of advanced data technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies. 

Location: Remote anywhere within the US (Must be located in the US)
