The VP, Product Management will be a key leader in shaping and executing the vision for our AI/ML-driven products. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical environments, a strategic mindset to identify and translate AI opportunities into scalable, real-world impact, and the ability to manage the full product lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and launching innovative Generative and Predictive AI modules that enhance clinician efficiency, support our clinical core systems, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML products, considering user feedback (VoC), competitive analysis, and overarching business goals.
- Impact Delivery: Define success metrics, analyze data to derive actionable insights, prioritize features and initiatives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align investment with tangible business outcomes.
- Opportunity Identification & Innovation: Actively identify AI opportunities across IMO Health; creatively apply existing and emerging AI solutions to drive innovation, improve clinician efficiency, and foster company growth.
- Full Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including business requirements gathering, market analysis, business justification, influencing functional design, process development, prototyping, testing, training, verification, forecasting, pricing, profitability analysis, and successful product launch.
- Adoption & Iteration: Drive adoption of AI models by clearly demonstrating value realization; continuously monitor performance post-launch, gathering feedback for ongoing improvements and adjustments.
- External Representation: Represent IMO Health AI assets and product capabilities at industry events, conferences, and during direct customer engagement, acting as a subject matter expert and evangelist.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, clinical informatics, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product success.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Healthcare Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience understanding workflows in healthcare
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Product Management Acumen: Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager, OR significant experience within Health Systems leading product-related strategy, development, or deployment initiatives. Understanding of data governance, basic statistics, data structures, and how to manage data as an asset.
- AI/ML Expertise: ○ Ability to understand technical problems and AI/ML solutions. Experience with the deployment and/or practical application of Generative in a clinical or healthcare environment.
- Healthcare & Workflow Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare workflows. Stakeholder Management: Effective stakeholder management experience; proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships by involving the right people at the right time throughout the development process.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences from C-suite executives to clinical staff and technical teams.
- Customer Focus & Prioritization: Ability to clearly articulate customer needs, understand feature designs to inform development, evaluate how features meet customer and business needs, and make data-driven prioritization decisions and manage tradeoffs.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative cross-team environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
- Experience working with AI/ML products in a SaaS environment
