Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Director / Vice President of Product leads the vision, strategy, and execution for Impel’s Agentic AI Platform. This role owns the product roadmap and business outcomes, ensuring successful development, launch, and adoption of AI-powered solutions that automate complex workflows across the automotive retail lifecycle.


  • Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for the Agentic AI Platform.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product management and design team.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and optimization.
  • Use data and analytics to guide product decisions, measure AI effectiveness, and drive outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on go-to-market execution.
  • Engage customers and industry stakeholders to inform product direction and validate value.
  • Own commercial success, including adoption, revenue growth, margin, and NPS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant product management experience, including senior leadership of platforms or portfolios.
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS, AI/ML
  • Automotive technology experience is preferred.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling new products or platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Passion for customer-centric, data-driven product innovation.

Location & Travel

  • Preferred locations: Syracuse, NY; Burlington, VT; New York, NY. Remote considered.
  • Up to 25% travel, including some international travel.
