Job Summary:

The Vice President of Payor Sales will be responsible for leading Sharecare’s growth strategy within the health plan and payor markets, including commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid segments. This executive will own the full sales lifecycle—from strategic targeting and pipeline development to contract negotiation and handoff to implementation.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of selling population health, care management, or digital health solutions into payors, with deep relationships across the industry and a strong understanding of value-based care dynamics, and industry trends in digital health. While the position will report to the SVP of Sales it will also work in close collaboration with the GM of Sharecare’s Enterprise Division.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Achieve and exceed team bookings/revenue targets through execution of sales to payors
  • Forecast pipeline and opportunity progression to Sr. Leadership in a pre-defined cadence
  • Coach and develop team members while measuring them against key performance criteria
  • Achieve and exceed Annual Recurring Revenue targets in specific geographic and/or market segments.
  • Work closely with the broader Sales, Product & Account Management Leadership to ensure alignment with key corporate initiatives and goals.
  • Develop strategic territory plans to maximize revenue from assigned market segments and targeted accounts.
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets to executive leadership on a timely basis.
  • Leverage CRM system of record to manage all opportunities while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to demonstrate Sharecare solutions to prospective customers via in-person and web presentations.
  • Collaborate with the RFP team to deliver best-in-class proposals to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with Sharecare Implementation Services, Account Management and Client Success on pre/post-sales implementation, launch plans, and hand-off process.
  • Serve as a voice of the market, providing input on pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Marketing to support voice of customer and influence our demand generation efforts and mindshare creation.
  • Participate and support cross functional projects as requested by the Senior Leadership team.

  • Solid organizational, management, administrative and human relations skills in a style that exhibits maturity, leadership, sensitivity and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Generally requires a minimum of 7+ years of related experience.
  • Minimum requirement of Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and other industry-standard sales tools.
  • Sales training and experience with solution, consultative, strategic and/or conceptual selling
