Freebird is a 9-figure, bootstrapped DTC rocketship with massive momentum — and yet, we’ve barely scratched the surface on influencer, affiliate, and partnership marketing. We’re looking for a senior operator and builder to create and own this new function from the ground up and scale it into a $1M+/month revenue channel within 6 months.
As VP of Partnerships, Influencer, and Affiliate Marketing, you’ll act as the CEO of this growth vertical, with full ownership over strategy, execution, tooling, recruiting, and outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally with our Paid, Creative, Amazon, and Retention teams to drive efficient growth, channel diversification, creative output, and net-new revenue across all customer touchpoints — DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and beyond.
📈 What You'll Own and Drive 1. Build and Scale a High-ROI Influencer Engine- Lead the influencer strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube (organic, paid, and hybrid).
- Own performance modeling, licensing, usage rights, and creator management.
- Use creator content to fuel paid media, Amazon PDPs, and awareness campaigns.
- Prioritize net-new customer acquisition, CAC efficiency, and repeatable creator success.
- Own the affiliate channel across DTC, Amazon Influencer, and TikTok Shop.
- Recruit and activate high-converting publishers, creators, and review sites.
- Build exclusive offers, landing pages, and bundles to drive performance.
- Utilize platforms like Impact, Refersion, or Social Snowball to track and scale.
- Build and manage a high-volume TikTok Shop creator community.
- Activate Spark Ads, creator storefronts, live selling, and repurposed UGC.
- Partner with agencies, creator networks, and live-sell operators to drive velocity.
- Leverage TikTok as a direct response engine for both DTC and Amazon.
- Build a high-throughput gifting engine (500–1,000 creators/month).
- Automate seeding workflows to generate UGC at scale and optimize post-rate.
- Use UGC to drive organic reach, social proof, creative testing, and cost savings.
- Track creator content usage and repurpose for email, PDPs, paid ads, and retail.
- Use creators and affiliates to support Amazon velocity, SEO rankings, and retail sell-through.
- Partner with Growth, Amazon, and Retail teams to run creator-powered launches.
- Build always-on influencer campaigns to drive search lift and omnichannel momentum.
- Attribute halo effect and influence across blended CAC, ROAS, and LTV metrics.
- Hire and lead a lean, high-performing team to execute the vision.
- Stand up the systems, playbooks, SOPs, and tooling to scale efficiently.
- Create dashboards and reporting infrastructure to track CAC, ROAS, LTV, and attribution.
- Ensure visibility across leadership by tying results back to business performance.
- 7–10+ years of experience building and scaling influencer, affiliate, or creator programs.
- Proven success driving $500K–$5M+/month in performance creator revenue.
- Deep platform expertise: TikTok, TikTok Shop, Instagram, YouTube, Amazon Influencer.
- Fluency in Spark Ads, creator licensing, gifting, and affiliate tech stacks (Impact, Refersion, etc.).
- Extremely performance- and data-driven — fluent in CAC, ROAS, LTV, and incrementality.
- Operator mindset: builds quickly, documents everything, and systematizes for scale.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
