Job Description

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of operations-related projects or initiatives (Cash Management, Payments, Remittance)
  • Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Manage stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Business units
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards

Business Analysis

  • Articulate, gather and document business requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and process mapping
  • Prioritize change requests
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications
  • Support UAT planning and execution

Remittance Expertise

  • Support local and cross-border remittance operations
  • Ensure system stability and operational efficiency for remittance platforms
  • Drive enhancements and automation for remittance processes

Data Analytics

  • Manage remittance data analytics for trend analysis, fraud detection, and operational insights
  • Develop dashboards and reports for management
  • Use data to optimize cost and improve STP (Straight Through Processing) rates

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Identify operational risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Prepare project updates, dashboards, and executive summaries

Regulatory & Risk Compliance

  • Ensure projects comply with MAS regulations and internal risk frameworks
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
  • PMP/Prince2 certification preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in banking operations with at least 5 years in project management
  • Proven experience in remittance operations (local & cross-border)

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of remittance systems and payment platforms
  • Familiarity with SWIFT, CBPR+, MEPS+, and cross-border payment rails

Data Analytics

  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets for operational insights
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL

Regulatory Knowledge

  • Familiarity with MAS guidelines, AML/KYC, and operational risk frameworks

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in automation and digital transformation projects
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
