Role Overview:
Reporting to the President, Chief Customer Officer, the Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy to lead our market expansion and revenue growth initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing comprehensive GTM strategies for our cybersecurity products and services. In addition, you will lead the following marketing teams: Digital and Brand, Corporate Communications, Solutions Marketing and Customer Marketing. In your role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, sales and engineering to ensure alignment and maximize market penetration.About the RoleYou will develop and implement overall GTM strategies for expansion in the Trellix customer base with new and existing products and solutions, identifying target markets, customer segments, and value propositions.
Shape overall brand perception to enhance recognition, loyalty, and market position and ensure a positive and cohesive customer journey.
Collaborate with product management and product marketing to:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, informing GTM planning
Align on strategies based on product roadmaps and GTM readiness for new releases
Partner with sales leadership and sales enablement to develop sales enablement tools, training, and processes that align with GTM strategies.
As a builder and leader of high-performing teams, you will manage the following marketing teams: Digital and Brand, Corporate Communications, Solutions Marketing and Customer Marketing.
Create compelling messaging, campaigns, and content that resonate with target audiences.
Define and track key GTM metrics, analyzing performance and iterating on strategies to optimize results.
Lead cross-functional GTM planning sessions, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments.
Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and channels to expand market reach.
Stay abreast of cybersecurity industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to continuously refine GTM approaches.
About You:
As a cybersecurity professional, your career history must include significant years of global information security technology leadership experience across a broad range of technical environments and business models, ideally including operating in a global enterprise software company. Operating within PE or VC-backed companies is a plus.
10+ years of progressive experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, or business development within the technology sector, with a strong focus on cybersecurity is essential.
Your background includes a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling technology products in new and existing markets, combined with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, including common threats, solutions, and customer buying cycles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
Experience in a leadership role at a cybersecurity technology company is essential.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing GTM teams through active engagement, continuous talent assessment, talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning.
Your expertise in GTM models must include direct sales, channel sales, and partner ecosystems, complemented with a strong understanding of customer segmentation and buyer persona development.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms is a plus.
Base Pay Range: $265,000 - $300,000. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation also includes annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
