THE OPPORTUNITY

The IT Identity Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, as well as a strong grasp of regulatory compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that identity governance policies and procedures are effectively executed and maintained. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Design, implement, and manage identity governance solutions to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive identity governance framework that aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This includes defining roles, responsibilities, and processes for managing identities and access.
  • Plan and manage access reviews and certification processes across a large quantity of applications, systems and infrastructure.  
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to identity and access management. Ensure that identity governance processes and systems are auditable and that evidence of compliance is readily available.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, security, compliance, and business units, to ensure that identity governance practices meet organizational needs and objectives.
  • Generate reports and analytics on identity governance activities. Use these insights to identify trends, improve processes, and make informed decisions.  
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of identity governance controls and processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of identity governance activities.
  • Implement and enforce identity governance policies to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain identity governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks associated with identity and access management.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of identity governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in identity governance technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to ensure alignment with identity governance objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on identity governance best practices.
  • Manage and resolve identity governance-related incidents and issues.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counselings.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.

The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in identity governance and administration, IAM, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a team directly 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong knowledge of IGA principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus.
  • Experience with IGA tools and platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt) and IAM technologies such as Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra), and other IAM platforms. Knowledge of cloud-based identity governance solutions.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
  • Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and toxic combinations.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate reports, and make informed decisions.

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
