Lead the integration of Agerpoint's analytics into agricultural machinery, manage partnerships with OEMs, and oversee product development.
Welcome to Agerpoint
Agerpoint is reshaping how the world captures, analyzes, and manages field data, powering a more resilient food supply and safeguarding natural ecosystems. By merging advanced AI, agentic models, and data fusion, we’re building the next-generation spatial platform that delivers unprecedented insights for agriculture and environmental conservation.
Our Agerpoint Capture app transforms any smartphone into a data acquisition tool, making it simple to record ground-level truth of crops and trees. These real-time visual models sync seamlessly with Agerpoint Cloud, our AI-native data platform that integrates satellite imagery, terrestrial and drone surveys, field equipment sensors, and human observations to produce highly precise, quantifiable digital twins and analytics.
From estimating yield and identifying disease to assessing biodiversity, Agerpoint’s data cloud delivers actionable intelligence that drives better decision-making for agriculture, forestry, insurance, government, and conservation organizations.
Named a 2022 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, Agerpoint is charting a bold path to transform how we measure and manage the planet’s vegetation. Our ultimate goal: to enhance the quality of life for all and combat climate change by fostering a data-driven revolution in how we grow our food, manage our forests, and protect our natural habitats.
The company is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina at the Alexandria Center for AgTech - the country's first and only integrated multi-tenant, collaborative and amenity-rich R&D and greenhouse site.
About the Role
We are hiring a Vice President of Intelligent Equipment to lead the integration of Agerpoint’s core analytics into the next generation of agricultural machinery from autonomous sprayers to robotics platforms. This role will define and scale Agerpoint’s partnerships with global OEMs and advanced automation players, managing the full lifecycle from pilot to product launch. This is a senior executive position with both technical and business accountability, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of innovation, go-to-market strategy, and industry-shaping partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the intelligent equipment strategy, defining how Agerpoint’s digital infrastructure is deployed on machines in the field
- Translate plant-level data into equipment-ready applications: intelligent spray control, autonomy triggers, actuation, and in-field on-device analytics
- Represent Agerpoint at the boardroom and field level with OEMs, growers, and innovation partners
- Design integration pathways that bridge multimodal data LiDAR, multispectral, RGB, and field telemetry into actionable, real-time machine intelligence.
- Position Agerpoint as the core data and analytics player in the emerging agriculture equipment ecosystem
- Lead collaborations with global equipment manufacturers and automation partners
- Recruit and mentor high-performing talent across product, engineering, and partnerships to establish the “Intelligent Equipment” division as a growth driver within Agerpoint
- Structure and manage proof-of-concepts that evolve into scaled product integrations
- Serve as executive sponsor and commercial driver for joint development programs
- Shape an interoperable data ecosystem that allows Agerpoint’s platform to interface with OEM systems, robotics middleware, and grower decision (FMS) platforms
- Architect solutions that align with the future of machine-native multimodal sensing and edge AI
- Partner with Agerpoint’s product, data science, and engineering teams to build deployable, real-time analytics pipelines
- Define integration pathways for Agerpoint’s plant-level geometry engine and sensing stack into third-party systems
- Deliver measurable value to growers: reduced chemical usage, yield lift, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 10+ years in ag equipment, robotics, ag-tech, or OEM partnerships with increasing scope and responsibility
- Proven track record of leading complex partnerships, including joint development agreements or embedded integrations
- Familiarity with sensing, automation, and control systems for spraying, harvesting, or robotic field operations
- Ability to speak both technical and commercial languages; comfortable closing a field test or a boardroom deal
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in high-growth, venture-backed environments
- Preference for candidates based in the Research Triangle (RTP), NC, or within proximity to major agricultural regions where Agerpoint operates
Benefits
Paid company holidays and unlimited PTO
Remote friendly and flexible work environment
