Lead HR strategy and operations during M&A, promoting a performance-driven culture, leading remote teams, and partnering with executives to align people strategies with business goals.
Are you an HR professional with a passion for bringing out the best in people? Are you ready to lead a fully remote, global workforce, where you’ll be at the helm of a diverse and innovative team that proves geography is no barrier to collaboration, creativity, and impact?. Do you thrive in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where your contributions directly impact the future of delivery logistics?
CXT Software provides the technology backbone for delivery processes, empowering courier, route delivery, and healthcare companies to maximize operational potential. Our solutions streamline business functions, freeing time and resources for exceptional service delivery. Every day, we help countless businesses optimize their delivery operations and drive success.
We're looking for a visionary VP of Human Resources who can design and lead a people strategy that scales with our growth. This role goes far beyond policy — you’ll partner directly with the CEO and executive team, steering culture through change, aligning talent strategy with ambitious business goals, and simplifying HR systems so leaders can focus on outcomes.
This is a pivotal leadership role in a company where people strategy is inseparable from business strategy. At CXT Software, HR isn’t a back-office function — it’s a core driver of growth, culture, and organizational success. M&A experience is at the center of this role: from due diligence to integration to resetting culture, and making critical decisions on people strategy and compensation. The right candidate will have led acquisitions, not just been acquired. You’ll thrive in this role if you are as excited about due diligence and analysis as you are about leading engagement initiatives. You’ll have the freedom to shape strategies that work for real people, in a culture where performance and results matter more than rules for rules’ sake. Here, your ability to inspire, adapt, and deliver will define success — both for you and for the business.
If you thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, love building scalable yet human-centered frameworks, and want to be part of a high-growth, customer-obsessed business, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
*Lead all people aspects of M&A: run HR due diligence, evaluate talent risks and opportunities, design compensation and retention strategies, and execute seamless integration that blends cultures and sustains performance.
*Drive and sustain a remote-first culture, ensuring employees across geographies are engaged, accountable, and high-performing.
*Champion a performance-based culture: design systems to measure, top-grade, and continually improve individual, team, and organizational performance.
*Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape company direction through people strategies.
*Act as a trusted sounding board, offering candid feedback and solutions to complex business and talent challenges.
*Assess and implement systems to measure and improve performance at individual, team, and company levels.
*Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure talent strategies enable each function’s success.
*Drive Learning & Development best practices in all areas, including but not limited to leadership, productivity, soft skills, & compliance.
*Manage Benefits Administration: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD, LTD, etc
*Manage employment law compliance for US and international W2s & 1099s
*Bring strong financial acumen to link people strategies with P&L, profitability, and valuation.
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
*15+ years of total experience in Human Resources
*8-10 years in a leadership role, currently serving as a Director, VP, or C-Level
*Proven track record leading M&A in an HR executive capacity — having owned due diligence, integration, people strategy, compensation, and culture reset for acquired companies. Experience must include being the decision-maker, not just part of an acquired company.
*3+ years of experience leading remote, global teams and building remote-first cultures.
*Demonstrated success in building performance-driven cultures (including top-grading, measurement, and continual improvement).
*Strong financial literacy
Nice to have
*Payroll & Benefits experience
*Full-cycle recruiting experience
*Events management
*Coaching and facilitation
*SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP Certifications
*HCM (Rippling) systems administration
