Scopely is seeking a Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to lead the company’s sourcing strategy, with a particular emphasis on complex software and service vendor negotiations. Managing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual spend, this leader will establish and scale a world-class procurement function that maximizes commercial value, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the company’s growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Procurement will serve as a trusted business partner across business organizations, driving cost optimization while enabling agility and innovation.

What you will do

  • Lead strategic sourcing for the company, ensuring best-in-class pricing, terms, and flexibility
  • Negotiate and structure complex commercial agreements — including enterprise software licenses, and global service contracts
  • Develop scalable procurement frameworks that align with Scopely’s entrepreneurial culture while delivering financial discipline and transparency
  • Partner closely with Finance, IT, Legal, HR, and Game Teams to ensure procurement enables business velocity without unnecessary friction
  • Build, mentor, and manage a small but high-impact procurement team
  • Create measurable KPIs and reporting to communicate procurement’s impact on financial performance and strategic initiatives
  • Establish best practices, policies, and systems for vendor management, risk mitigation, and spend visibility

What you will Need

  • 15+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, with significant time spent negotiating
    complex software, service, and technology deals
  • Proven success building or scaling procurement functions in dynamic, high-growth, or tech-driven organizations
  • Deep commercial acumen and comfort managing negotiations with senior vendor executives
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and SaaS pricing models
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to balance speed, rigor, and creativity
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global organization
  • Uncompromising integrity and impeccable judgment

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
