In this role, you will own the data-driven marketing strategy to grow our top-of-funnel and increase marketing’s contribution to revenue.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with GTM, Product, Data, and other teams to turn growth into a durable, compounding engine for the business.

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, lifecycle, web strategy, and product-led growth, with a strong analytical foundation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort owning outcomes.

  • Ability to attract, grow, and retain top talent while fostering intensity and accountability.
  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out to vision and zoom in to flawless execution.
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end growth marketing strategy to grow top-of-funnel pipeline and accelerate closed-won revenue.
  • Build and manage a high-performing Growth Marketing team, agencies, and vendors, setting high performance standards and fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
  • Lead full-funnel growth initiatives with an emphasis on top-of-funnel expansion across paid, organic, ABM, and emerging channels.
  • Define, track, and report on core growth metrics (CAC, LTV, retention, conversion, incremental lift), translating data insights into actions that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Architect and refine attribution methods (MMM, MTA, experimentation frameworks) to measure channel effectiveness and optimize spend.
  • Develop and execute a continuous experimentation plan to uncover and scale new growth levers for customer acquisition.
  • Drive B2B strategies including vertical messaging and persona-based tactics to increase lead quality and accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Partner with different teams, including Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Data, to ensure a cohesive GTM strategy and a seamless customer journey that maximizes revenue outcomes.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
