Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a visionary and experienced pricing leader to serve as the Vice President, Strategic Pricing. This executive-level role will be responsible for designing and leading a global, unified pricing strategy that captures value across all business functions. Reporting to senior leadership, the VP will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including Global Business Unit GMs, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT—to implement value-based pricing strategies, develop cutting-edge tools and capabilities, and drive compliance to achieve sustained margin growth.

The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with deep expertise in pricing strategy, process improvement, and change management within large, complex organizations, preferably in the IT or telecom industries. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, technical acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with deep expertise in pricing strategy, process improvement, and change management within large, complex organizations, preferably in the IT, Technology or Telecom industries.

This position can be based anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global pricing strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Build and lead a high-performing pricing organization, overseeing tools, systems, and processes to achieve pricing excellence.

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to implement value-based pricing strategies and ensure contract compliance.

  • Drive customer profitability analysis and implement innovative pricing models to capture maximum value.

  • Lead transformational change initiatives, fostering alignment across diverse stakeholders and functions.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in pricing strategy, preferably in IT, software, or telecom industries.

  • Proven track record of driving margin growth and implementing value-based pricing strategies for complex products and services.

  • Expertise in change management, process design, and building cross-functional alignment.

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to define critical pricing metrics and drive decisions.

  • Experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations.

USD Annual Salary: $216,500.00 - $476,000.00
