Role Overview
We are hiring a VP of Finance to manage and optimize the finance function. You will be responsible for day to day operational finance, working collaboratively with venture capital fund accounting and finance, and laying the foundation for scaling of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience within a high-growth fintech startup and interest or experience in the venture capital industry.

What You'll Own
- Manage financial operations of a fast growing startup
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and payroll
- Assist with hiring, benefits and human resources
- Working closely with fund accounting and finance team
- Provide financial reports to the leadership team and Board
- Manage State and Federal compliance and reporting
- Implement accounting and other finance software systems
- Manage the Cap Table
What You Have
- 10+ years finance experience including accounting, FP&A and systems
- Experience in a rapidly scaling fintech environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of success working with cross functional teams
- Background in financial modeling and projections
- Pro user of Excel and Google Sheets and experience with modern finance stack
- Understanding of the nuances of accounting with startup investing
- Proactive attitude to tackle any opportunity or challenge
- Skills to create and leverage logical solutions to complex problems
- Detail-oriented and analytical nature
- Able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks; strong organizational and time management skills are required
- Nice to have: interest and experience in venture capital industry
