Who are we hiring?

The Vice President of Client Services will oversee strategic relationships and campaign fulfillment across the Sphere portfolio of Exosphere advertising and sponsorship partners. This role is central to delivering a best-in-class client experience — ensuring our partners’ goals are not only met but exceeded.

Acting as a senior leader within the organization, the VP will serve as a key strategic partner to the VP of Integrated Marketing & Sponsorship, helping to shape and scale processes that support the execution of complex brand partnerships. In close collaboration with Sales, Sphere Studios, Venue Operations, Integrated Marketing, and external agencies, this role ensures flawless campaign delivery, builds strong client relationships, and identifies opportunities for upsell, renewal, or new lines of business.

This is a highly client-facing role that requires both strategic leadership and a hands-on approach to execution, particularly in support of partnership activations, sponsorship fulfillment, and on-the-ground brand experiences in Las Vegas.

What will you do?

  • Lead and scale the Client Services function, overseeing team operations including status reporting, weekly planning, project allocation, and annual goal setting.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value advertising and sponsorship clients, ensuring campaign deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales to foster a culture of transparency and alignment, ensuring seamless handoffs from deal close to campaign execution.
  • Ensure flawless fulfillment of all contractual sponsorship and advertising obligations, delivering best-in-class client service from launch through post-campaign reporting.
  • Partner with creative and production teams to develop and execute compelling sponsorship activations, ensuring the client’s vision is translated into powerful, high-impact work.
  • Act as the on-the-ground executive presence in Las Vegas during live campaigns — hosting clients, coordinating logistics, and ensuring activations are captured and showcased.
  • Partner with analytics teams to deliver clear, data-driven campaign recaps, highlighting performance metrics, ROI, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Proactively identify upsell and renewal opportunities, partnering with Sales to drive incremental revenue growth.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sphere Creative, Operations, Strategy, Communications, Legal, Finance, and external agencies to ensure alignment and delivery at every stage.
  • Continuously optimize internal processes and workflows to increase efficiency and elevate the overall client experience.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 15+ years of client service or account management experience within advertising, media, technology, live events, sports, entertainment, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading complex client relationships with top-tier brands and delivering high-value sponsorship activations.
  • Strong project and account management expertise, with exceptional attention to detail and operational rigor.
  • Experience developing and implementing new processes and policies within dynamic or start-up environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguity into clear, actionable workstreams and lead teams through execution.
  • Exceptional communicator with polished presentation and storytelling skills in both internal and client-facing settings.
  • Deep experience influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on, proactive leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with Airtable a plus.

Special Requirements

  • Periodic travel to New York and Las Vegas will be required.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
