Oddball believes that the best products are built when companies understand and value the things they are working on. We value learning and growth and the ability to make a big impact at a small company. We believe that we can make big changes happen and improve the daily lives of millions of people by bringing quality software to the federal space.
We’re looking for a Vice President, CJADC2 Growth who blends deep mission credibility with proven business development leadership across the defense digital battlespace. This role is focused on expanding Oddball’s presence within software-driven Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) ecosystems, particularly across the U.S. Air Force (USAF), DoD software factories, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and mission-aligned digital modernization communities. You’ll help position Oddball where modern software, data, and platform modernization efforts intersect with real operational needs—opening doors, shaping strategic relationships, and identifying high-impact opportunities aligned with our strengths in software IT modernization and secure federal delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead strategic business development efforts across CJADC2, USAF, MDA, and adjacent defense digital modernization ecosystems
- Build trusted relationships within software factories, operational units, and digital transformation communities
- Identify and shape early-stage opportunities where software, data, and human-centered digital delivery can improve mission outcomes
- Expand Oddball’s presence within software-driven mission initiatives rather than traditional platform or hardware-centric efforts
- Open doors within key client organizations and partner networks to increase access to strategic modernization programs
- Translate operational challenges into clear growth pathways aligned with Oddball’s long-term strategy
- Partner with internal growth, capture, and technical teams to align opportunity shaping with company priorities
- Maintain strong awareness of evolving defense priorities and defense digital ecosystem trends
- Represent Oddball credibly with senior military, civilian, and industry stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated success leading business development efforts within DoD, USAF, MDA or CJADC2-aligned digital modernization environments
- Strong relationships across software factory and defense digital transformation communities
- Deep understanding of mission needs tied to software IT modernization, secure application delivery, and operational workflows
- Ability to influence strategy and open doors without direct ownership of proposals or capture execution
- Experience collaborating with technical and growth teams to position solutions within complex federal ecosystems
- Strong executive presence and communication skills when engaging senior stakeholders across government and industry
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and a security clearance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Benefits:
- Fully remote (U.S. based) with frequent travel to client and partner sites as needed.
- Annual stipend
- Comprehensive Benefits Package
- Company Match 401(k) plan
- Flexible PTO, Paid Holidays
