About the Role
We’re looking for a Visual Designer, Conversion & Growth to shape the creative and user experience across our marketing funnel, from landing pages to signup flows and checkout. You’ll craft visually compelling, psychologically informed designs that build trust, reduce friction, and drive conversions. Since tapouts is built for kids and parents, your designs should feel both friendly and approachable for families, while also clear and credible for parents making purchase decisions. This role blends strong visual craft with an understanding of customer behavior and cognitive biases. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and engineering to continuously test, learn, and optimize for performance.
This position will require being on-site 5 days a week.
What Success Looks Like
- Drive creative work end-to-end: research, idea generation, concept exploration, design, and finalization
- Deliver landing pages, signup flows, and checkout experiences optimized for clarity, trust, and conversion
- Use A/B testing and behavioral insights to create data-driven improvements in funnel performance
- Maintain a consistent, recognizable brand identity across all touchpoints while optimizing for results
- Apply design system skills, rapid prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration to ship quickly and iterate
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Have designed customer journeys (landing pages, signup flows, checkout) that measurably increase conversion
- Bring a strong portfolio of high-performing, data-backed marketing and product design work
- Understand customer psychology and can apply behavioral science and cognitive bias principles in design
- Balance clarity, trust, and delight while staying true to brand integrity
- Are fluent in Figma, Adobe CC, and prototyping tools to iterate quickly
- Thrive as the design owner within a fast-paced, cross-functional growth team
Essential Experience
- 5-7+ years in growth, marketing, or product design for B2C products
- Proven track record in conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing page design, and funnel performance
- Strong grasp of customer psychology, persuasion, and cognitive biases in design
- Experience working in-house and collaborating closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams
- Skilled in A/B testing, data-driven design, and translating insights into high-performing visuals
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
