About the Role

Eleven Media is looking for a creative Video Producer to develop original entertainment videos for MTN. The role involves identifying strong stories, planning content, writing and shaping scripts, coordinating production, and working closely with editors to deliver engaging short-form and long-form videos.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging short-form and long-form video content covering Hollywood entertainment, movies, television, and celebrity news across digital and social platforms.
  • Research, pitch, and develop original story ideas, identifying compelling angles, soundbites, visuals, and emerging entertainment trends.
  • Lead the end-to-end production process, including research, scripting, publishing and optimizing video content.
  • Collaborate with U.S. based anchors and content producers to develop scripts, prepare interviews, and deliver high-quality editorial content.
  • Monitor breaking entertainment news, social trends, and industry events to adjust coverage, prioritize stories, and maintain forward editorial planning.
  • Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific clips and social-first formats to maximize audience reach and engagement.
  • Analyze video performance metrics, including watch time, retention, reach, and engagement, to refine content strategy and inform editorial decisions.
  • Flexibility to support timely stories and occasional weekend production when required.
  • Improve production workflows and editorial processes while maintaining high-quality standards and delivering content on tight deadlines.



What You Will Need

  • Strong experience producing short-form and long-form digital videos.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, creative judgment, and an understanding of audience engagement.
  • Experience researching stories, developing ideas, writing scripts, and planning video content.
  • A strong understanding of Hollywood film and television news, including trailers, casting updates, premieres, interviews, and major events.
  • Experience working with editors, presenters, contributors, voiceovers, graphics, and production teams.
  • A clear understanding of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, audience retention, and content packaging.
  • The ability to identify timely and engaging stories that fit MTN’s audience and brand.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple productions, respond to feedback, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Good editorial judgment and attention to accuracy, attribution, copyright, and platform guidelines.
  • Flexibility to support timely stories, live events, and occasional weekend production when required.
