Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Editing: Create and edit new videos-ranging from technical walkthroughs to conceptual explanations-while adhering to company guidelines.
- Technical Translation: Collaborate with content experts, project managers, and video producers to distill complex product concepts into usable and accurate videos.
- Cross-Functional Documentation: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to document how to use new product features for both technical and non-technical users.
- Project Ownership: Own, create, and help manage all aspects of video production and strategy for specific user needs.
- Independence & Management: Work independently and efficiently manage multiple simultaneous video projects.
- Strategy & Impact: Partner with the broader content strategy team to define success metrics and track the impact of your work.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Technical Communication, Video Production, Journalism, or a related multimedia field.
- A portfolio or video samples demonstrating experience in creating and editing content. Independent projects or course work is acceptable.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and demonstrable skills in applying animation or motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Strong eagerness to learn new video production workflows, developer concepts, and content strategy best practices.
- Proven proactive and responsible attitude with the willingness to partner in leading projects and owning outcomes from concept to completion.
- Excellent ability to translate complex information clearly through both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated capacity for self-management, organization, and a positive response to feedback as a tool for growth.
- Direct experience playing with developer platforms, working with APIs, or hands-on experience building and deploying your own websites or applications.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools, including prompt engineering and leveraging generative AI for scripting, content ideation, or production efficiencies.
- Willingness and confidence to perform professional voice-over work for the video content you produce.
