About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Applications will be accepted until 04/13/2026.

Salesforce Global Communications is hiring a Video Editor/Videographer with hands-on experience editing multiple parallel projects across a range of topics and formats. This person will be responsible for managing all post-production elements for videos that include self-shot executive messages, creative social-style interviews, video podcasts and event/program sizzle reels and on-site customer interviews.

The candidate needs to be scrappy and enthusiastic, someone who loves working in a collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical comms team members. They are as comfortable taking the seed of an idea and bringing it to life, as they are following a fully baked script to ensure it hits all agreed-upon messaging and brand goals.

Technically, they need to be able to work with live-action video and audio, as well as create and implement dynamic motion graphics and visual effects. This means proficiency in both Adobe Premiere and After Effects, with a basic knowledge of sound design and color correction via automated tools. The majority of this role is focused specifically on editing and post-production, but this individual must also be a skilled videographer, capable of shooting high-quality video on-site at various company and industry events and procuring necessary camera, lighting and audio equipment.
Additionally, they must be comfortable ordering and setting up necessary equipment to build a remote edit bay and implement best practices for ingesting and cataloguing media assets.

This individual must also develop trusted relationships with key partners and stakeholders and will serve as a go-to resource for all video projects happening within the Global Communications teams. In this role they will be responsible for setting up new workflows for data storage, instructing non-technical team members on how to capture and share footage, and working with the Senior Producer to create and manage an ongoing edit calendar. This person will also provide on-set guidance during production and shoots to ensure footage meets editorial needs.

Desired Characteristics:

The Video Editor is an experienced technical editor able to work across styles and formats. They are comfortable executing smaller projects with little oversight, but also able to collaborate on larger projects as needed. They are a creator, a builder and a problem solver. They are passionate about all things video, constantly following the latest social trends and bringing fresh ideas about how we can reach our audiences with creative video content.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary editor on video projects, leading a project from creative brief to final delivery while meeting all brand guidelines and deadlines

  • Lead video post-production technical workflows including implementing best practices for data storage, asset collection, software usage and project organization

  • Work with Salesforce project leaders to receive creative briefs, respond to edit requests, and map out project timelines

  • Work with the Senior Producer to develop monthly edit calendars and workback plans to manage the project pipeline and hit multiple competing deadlines

  • Collaborate with Salesforce project leaders and the Senior Producer to contribute creative ideas for selected projects, including suggestions on editing techniques, graphic style and storytelling approaches

  • When needed, partner with outside video vendors to supplement in-house video resources, managing creative direction, review cycles and scopes

  • Build credibility, respect and partnership with project teams, stakeholders and peers globally

  • Proactively monitor the latest trends in social video, use that knowledge to suggest new styles and formats to bring to Salesforce video content

  • Collaborate with producers to share compelling narratives and examples within short-form constraints

  • Should be available to travel for on-site editing or capture at select company or industry events, 1-2 times a quarter.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on editing experience working across live-action footage and motion graphics

  • Proven ability to edit a project from start to finish without any required technical oversight and minimal story direction

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere and After Effects

  • Experience using project management and review tools like Slack, Frame.io and Google Workspace

  • Ability to provide creative direction and technical guidance during filming and productions

  • Knowledge of aspect ratios, caption placement, and platform-specific best practices

  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate expectations for a project and communicate the status of deadlines and edit requests

  • Understanding of video and audio capture best practices, including video framing requirements for live and remote interviews

  • Knowledge of basic audio mixing and color correction techniques via automated tools

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines

  • Fast turnaround capabilities while maintaining high production quality

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Portfolio demonstrating successful short-form video content (required)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in a corporate or creative agency environment

  • Basic videography skills, including video and audio capture using smartphone workflows

  • Experience developing scripts from raw interview footage, ensuring cohesive narrative and message pull through

  • Experience creating video podcasts from remotely captured footage

  • Experience with quick-turn edit requests, including 24-hour turn times for select short form event video

  • Advanced audio editing skills, including using AI tools for soundbite smoothing

  • Understanding of the latest AI tools to assist in video creation

  • Experience with Riverside.fm or similar remote recording platforms.

  • Proven ability to identify, vet and recommend new software solutions to improve efficiency and creative quality

  • Basic understanding of how to budget and manage outside editing resources, including freelance and agency partners

  • Understanding of accessibility requirements (captions, transcripts, audio descriptions)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
