About Suno

We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfilment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.

Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.

Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).

Founded in 2023 by Harvard alumni with a shared passion for music, Suno has quickly grown to 200 employees while empowering more than 100 million people to create original songs. In 2026, we raised a $400 million Series D at a $5.4 billion valuation to continue building innovative products that amplify creativity and imagination.

About the Role

Suno’s growth runs on paid social, and paid social runs on creative. This is a hands-on editing role for someone who turns raw footage into ads that stop the scroll on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You’ll take existing clips, creator content, and captured footage and cut them into ad-ready variants built to convert, not just to look good.

This is a craft role with real creative latitude. You won’t be handed a storyboard and told to assemble it. You’ll bring your own hooks, angles, and instincts for what makes someone stop and watch, then move fast to test, iterate, and find what wins. Great work here is measured by performance, and you’ll see the results of your edits quickly enough to act on them.

If you live in the edit, think in hooks and hold rates, and want your cuts running in front of a massive global audience within days, this one is for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Cut existing footage, creator clips, and raw captures into ad-ready video variants for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc..

  • Craft scroll-stopping hooks and tight pacing built to hold attention and drive action.

  • Bring original concepts and angles to the table, not just execute against specs.

  • Produce multiple iterations of winning concepts to feed continuous creative testing.

  • Apply native-to-feed technique: dynamic captions, pattern interrupts, on-screen text, and motion graphics.

  • Adapt edits across formats and placements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) for Stories, Reels, and Feed.

  • Turn performance signals into sharper cuts, doubling down on what’s working.

  • Keep a fast, organized turnaround so fresh creative is always ready to test.

What You’ll Need

Must-Haves

  • A strong portfolio of short-form video ads you’ve cut for live Meta and/or TikTok campaigns.

  • Senior-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro, plus After Effects for motion graphics and CapCut for fast cuts.

  • A real grasp of direct-response creative: hooks, angles, pacing, and why a cut wins or loses, not just how it looks.

  • Proven ability to produce a high volume of variants at pace without dropping quality.

  • A proactive, self-directed working style. You spot what’s missing and bring ideas without being asked.

  • Fluency editing native short-form for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok across standard ad formats.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience at a consumer subscription app, a growth agency running paid social, or a DTC/ecommerce brand.

  • Comfort reading performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, and CTR, and adjusting creative accordingly.

  • Comfort folding AI tools into a creative workflow to move faster.

  • A love of music and an eye for culture.

Compensation

This is a contract role paying $70 to $90 per hour, depending on experience, at roughly 20 to 40 hours per week.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
