Position Summary

As our Video Content Editor & Creator, you will produce high-quality in-house video content that supports product marketing, social media, customer success, internal comms, and demand generation. You’ll own the post-production process and partner with subject matter experts across the team to plan and execute engaging video pieces. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a detail-oriented and self-directed professional who thrives on bringing stories to life through video.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to storyboard and plan short-form and long-form video content for web, social, product, email, and internal use

  • Shoot, edit, and produce professional-quality video and audio using tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software

  • Edit videos for brand consistency, clarity, pacing, and engagement

  • Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and light animation where appropriate

  • Repurpose existing content into video snippets and reels for social platforms

  • Manage the video content archive and maintain an organized asset library

  • Ensure projects meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Follow accessibility best practices and optimize videos for various formats

  • Proactively identify content opportunities based on product launches, marketing initiatives, or trending formats

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in video editing/production, creating long-form video content and short-form video content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

  • Demonstrated portfolio of work in B2B or SaaS environments (agency or in-house)

  • Skilled with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent) and proficient with social media-oriented editing software (i.e. CapCut)

  • Ability to balance creativity while adhering to brand guideline to ensure consistency in post-production

  • Strong understanding of editing workflows, file formats, codecs, and compression

  • Proficiency with online video hosting platforms (i.e. YouTube, Vidyard, Vimeo)

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate briefs into finished work

Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with the aviation industry or experience editing aviation-related content

  • Experience incorporating product screen recordings, demos, or UI animation into videos

  • Experience using project management tools like Asana, Trello, or ClickUp

Work Environment Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently at a computer and video editing station for extended periods of time

  • Must have a reliable internet connection and designated home workspace

  • May occasionally need to work across time zones to coordinate with stakeholders
