Role Overview

As a Video Content Creator on our Customer Education team, you’ll play a critical role in helping customers learn not just how to use Harvey—but how to master it. Reporting to the Customer Education Strategist Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end creation of customer-facing educational video content, from storyboarding and scripting through voiceover, editing, and publishing.

You'll work closely within the Customer Education team on execution and production, partnering day-to-day with our existing Video Content Creator to align on production standards and maintain a consistent visual voice across all content. While your home base is the Customer Education team, you'll collaborate at times with Subject Matter Experts, like Legal Engineering and Product, to ensure technical accuracy and alignment on specialized content.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an early video creator on the team, shaping the visual voice of our customer education experience and driving engagement through clear, creative, and scalable video content.

What You'll Do

Video Content Creation & Production

  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and instructional videos that teach customers how to use and maximize Harvey.

  • Drive the full production lifecycle—from storyboarding and scripting to screen capture, voiceover, editing, and publishing.

  • Create a diverse range of video formats including product walkthroughs, workflow deep dives, short-form videos, and motion graphics explainers.

  • Incorporate storytelling and clear instructional design principles to ensure concepts are approachable and memorable.

  • Leverage AI-driven video creation tools to streamline production and meet fast-paced content goals.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all video content.

Content Optimization & Quality

  • Regularly update videos to align with new product releases or feature updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Experiment with new formats, visuals, and techniques to enhance comprehension and accessibility.

  • Ensure all videos meet high production and accessibility standards (captions, pacing, clarity).

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Legal Sales, and Marketing to ensure content accuracy and alignment across touchpoints.

  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market Enablement to ensure videos are surfaced effectively to internal teams.

  • Participate in review cycles with subject matter experts to validate messaging and technical details.

  • Contribute to team style guides and process documentation, helping capture and codify production standards as the content library scales

What You Have
  • 2-4 years of experience creating and producing educational or instructional video content for SaaS or technology products.

  • Comfortable producing in rapid release cycles, creating multiple videos each week, and adaptable when priorities shift or new content needs emerge.

  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts through engaging, visual storytelling.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Loom, Adobe Premiere, ScreenStudio, or similar platforms for video capture, editing, and collaboration.

  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools to expedite video creation and maintain high output quality.

  • Strong creative and technical editing skills (voiceover, pacing, visual clarity, audio balance).

  • Deep understanding of instructional design principles and how to translate them into video.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
