POSITION TITLE: Vice President, National Talent Solutions
LOCATION: Remote
REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President, Training Delivery

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Per Scholas is seeking a Vice President of National Talent Solutions to drive job attainment success for our graduates by setting and executing a clear national employer strategy. This leader will develop strategic employer partnerships, advance national talent solutions strategies, and ensure seamless collaboration across career services and employer engagement functions. 

The Vice President will also lead the National Talent Solutions team, ensuring their work is aligned, accountable, and delivering measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in business development, workforce solutions, and relationship management, particularly in the staffing or talent acquisition industries. This leader must balance external relationship-building with strong operational discipline, ensuring both employer yield and organizational consistency. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:Strategic Leadership & Job Attainment Focus
  • Lead and scale national and local talent solutions strategies, ensuring alignment with Per Scholas' overall job attainment goals.
  • Develop and oversee strategic initiatives to enhance job attainment rates for graduates by fostering deep relationships with employers and industry partners.
  • Set and lead the national job attainment strategy, ensuring alignment with Per Scholas’ KPIs (60% at 4 months, 80% at 12 months).
  • Oversee performance against national KPIs, ensuring National TSOL delivers at least 10% of all hires annually. 
  • Govern Talent Solutions policies and SOPs to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Partner with other senior leaders to ensure employer engagement strategies translate into measurable learner outcomes.
  • Leverage industry insights, labor market trends, and employer feedback to refine and strengthen Per Scholas' talent development strategies.
  • Lead, manage, and coach the National Talent Solutions Team, ensuring clear scopes of work, accountability, and strong collaboration with campuses.
Employer Relationship Development & Management
  • Develop and execute a national employer engagement strategy, securing high-quality job opportunities for Per Scholas graduates.
  • Secure national hiring commitments that flow down to campuses.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior executives, hiring managers, and decision-makers to advocate for Per Scholas talent.
  • Represent Per Scholas at key industry events, conferences, and forums to elevate brand awareness and expand employer networks.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with national workforce coalitions, trade organizations, and employer consortia to drive hiring opportunities.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Optimization
  • Implement data-driven strategies to measure and improve job attainment outcomes, leveraging CRM tools and workforce analytics.
  • Develop and oversee national employer engagement dashboards to track partnership success, hiring trends, and graduate placement rates.
  • Use employer feedback and labor market insights to inform curriculum enhancements, ensuring Per Scholas graduates meet evolving industry needs.
  • Develop structures and systems to increase transparency and accountability across Per Scholas national and local talent solutions to achieve the KPI for job attainment.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US:Professional Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is acceptable; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in business development, employer engagement, workforce development, or talent acquisition, with a proven track record of developing sustainable employer partnerships.
  • Strong sales, relationship management, and strategic partnership development expertise.
  • Deep understanding of workforce trends, staffing solutions, and employer hiring needs, particularly in the IT and skilled trades sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across geographies and departments.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and mission-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Passion for Per Scholas’ mission and a commitment to advancing economic mobility through workforce development.

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range of $110,000 - $120,000, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
