You may know us as Wonderful Pistachios, FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, JUSTIN Wine, or Teleflora but we’re all Wonderful – and we are seeking a dynamic Vice President, Talent Acquisition to execute the vision, strategy, and operations of The Wonderful Company’s Los Angeles corporate talent acquisition function and partner closely with our enterprise-wide talent acquisition teams globally.

Leading and inspiring a high-performing team of 11 dedicated professionals, the VP, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and sustaining a world-class recruitment approach that reflects our company’s values and supports our business goals. Working closely with senior executives to ensure the Company’s ability to facilitate the attraction and retention of diverse top talent at all levels of the organization.

This position will be based out of our West Los Angeles, CA headquarters.

Job Description

  • Lead Talent Acquisition strategy and execution for LA based corporate roles across The Wonderful Company portfolio, also extending to the central valley, central coast wine region and throughout the US to support our national sales teams
  • Strengthen and drive a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports the company’s short- and long-term business objectives
  • Champion team development by coaching, mentoring and empowering team members to achieve their professional goals – Exemplifying servant leadership to foster trust, collaboration and continuous learning
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and executive leadership on hiring strategies, market trends, and workforce planning
  • Proactively engage with senior leadership to maintain an understanding of all departments and lines of business, to assess and support their talent and recruitment needs
  • Partner with business unit-aligned recruiting teams to ensure alignment on talent acquisition priorities, shared best practices, and a cohesive employer brand across the enterprise
  • Design and drive the full-cycle recruitment process for business leaders acting as the subject matter expert – coaching and guiding senior leaders and hiring managers on sourcing strategy and recruitment best practices
  • Manage, train, and mentor the recruiting team to effectively execute a world class recruitment strategy – fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution
  • Leverage and optimize recruiting technologies, tools and platforms to continuously improve the end-to-end recruitment process through innovation and data-driven insights
  • Leads initiatives to enhance internal mobility, developing programs and processes that identify, develop, and promote talent from within to meet evolving business needs and improve employee retention
  • Use data and analytics to identify, understand, and communicate recruiting and hiring trends across the businesses; find solutions to remove barriers, answer challenges, and create efficiencies to hire the best talent
  • Owns and drives key talent acquisition metrics with a focus on reducing time to fill, improving quality of hire, increasing new hire retention rates, and promoting internal mobility
  • Provide reports and metrics in support of the organization's external and internal talent acquisition initiatives, including the ROI of initiatives such as internal career mobility, hiring manager training and employee referrals.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Learning & Organizational Development & Total Rewards leaders to ensure alignment of the organization's human capital strategy
  • Liaise with in-house employment counsel to draft, review or update executive offers

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive talent acquisition leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role
  • Proven success leading large, complex recruiting organization in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Deep expertise in people analytics, executive recruiting, and strategic workforce planning
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and impactful talent solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive influencing skills
  • Experienced in leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems and HR technologies to automate processes and drive recruitment efficiency
  • Demonstrates clear, compelling, and audience-tailored communication across all levels of the organization – Skilled in delivering high-impact presentations and leading engaging training sessions
  • Deep understanding of the recruitment life cycle with a forward-thinking approach to market trends and talent strategies
  • Highly organized, effective with time management and prioritization with the ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience strategically engaging with external search firms
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or MA/MS in HR or related field) preferred

Pay Range: $350,000 - 450,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
