What You Will Do:

  • Own the integration and data flow between Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring synchronization of lead and contact data for accurate segmentation, reporting, and pipeline attribution.
  • Develop and manage scalable and compliant lead management workflows, including nurture tracks, scoring models, and lifecycle stages aligned with complex client journeys across all audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and compliance teams to build campaign frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and sales enablement objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights through campaign performance dashboards and attribution reporting, leveraging Marketo, Salesforce, and Power BI tools to inform campaign ROI and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and enforce data integrity and governance practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FINRA, SEC, GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Oversee data hygiene, enrichment, and segmentation strategies to ensure CRM and marketing database integrity, including taxonomy standardization for account and contact targeting.
  • Guide A/B testing and personalization strategies for email, landing pages, and forms to improve engagement among financial advisors, institutional investors, and consultants.
  • Manage marketing technology stack enhancements and vendor relationships, championing innovation that drives efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage a team of marketing technologists, including overseeing tasks, quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for marketing operations staff, driving best practices in campaign execution, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder training.
  • Collaborate with our internal technology and business partners to configure and enhance application integrations with Marketo.
  • Work with Salesforce administrator, IT team, and key stakeholders to develop and enforce effective data management policies.
  • Produce technical specification and design documentation as required.
What You Will Need:
  • 10+ years in marketing technology or marketing operations, preferably within asset management or broader financial services.
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university – preferred.
  • 7+ years of deep, hands-on experience with Marketo, including campaign design, lead scoring, engagement programs, and system administration.
  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) preferred.
  • Proven track record integrating Marketo with Salesforce, with expertise in campaign architecture and sync best practices.
  • Strong background in building dashboards and performance reports for multiple audiences.
  • Understanding of data privacy, regulatory, and compliance considerations specific to financial services marketing.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
