We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to take the reins of our revenue engine and scale Panoptyc into its next phase of growth.
The RoleAs VP of Sales, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth across Panoptyc’s AI software + hardware product line. You’ll oversee the entire sales organization — from strategy to execution — and build upon our proven direct and channel sales model.
You’ll work closely with the Founder and C-Suite to:
Expand into adjacent retail verticals (grocery, c-stores, apparel, and dining)
Strengthen distribution partnerships with national and strategic accounts
Build repeatable, data-driven sales processes
Lead, coach, and hire a team of full-cycle sales reps, account managers, and SDRs
Own and close key deals
Own customer success- we have landed and need to expand with more customers
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup, can close enterprise deals, and can build systems and people that scale.
ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Strategy
Own Panoptyc’s top-line revenue targets and build a scalable GTM strategy aligned with company goals
Develop and manage KPIs across pipeline generation, conversion, expansion, and retention
Lead forecasting, sales planning, and territory strategy across channels and verticals
Implement sales playbooks and coaching frameworks (Sandler, etc.)
Team Building & Coaching
Recruit, train, and manage a team of AEs, SDRs, and Account Managers
Foster a performance culture rooted in accountability, learning, and collaboration
Partner with Marketing and RevOps to optimize lead flow, enablement, and analytics
Enterprise & Strategic Accounts
Build and maintain executive relationships with top enterprise accounts and distributors
Collaborate with Product and Customer Success on feedback loops and customer-driven innovation
Lead high-value negotiations and multi-stakeholder deal cycles
Process & Systems
Refine Panoptyc’s CRM and reporting infrastructure to drive data visibility and forecasting accuracy
Partner with RevOps/BI to ensure pipeline hygiene and data integrity
Establish incentive structures that reward growth, retention, and team collaboration
8+ years in SaaS or technology sales, with at least 3 years in a senior/executive leadership role
Proven success leading teams to $10M+ ARR with 40%+ YoY growth
Experience selling into retail, foodservice, or distribution channels (a plus)
Deep understanding of full-cycle sales processes and pipeline management
Excellent communicator, motivator, and strategic thinker
Hands-on, data-driven, and thrives in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments
