We are seeking an energetic, visionary Vice President of Sales for our Western US business to join our high-performing, innovative sales team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive revenue growth by developing long-term, strategic relationships with clients, championing new market opportunities, and inspiring sales excellence. You will be at the forefront of translating the value of emerging technologies—particularly AI assets—into actionable solutions for our clients, positioning Long View as a trusted, forward-thinking partner in their digital transformation journeys.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets in the mid-market and corporate sectors, ensuring sustainable growth and a winning culture across the Western US.
- Drive a high-performance prospecting and acquisition strategy, fostering a collaborative, competitive, and accountable team environment.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager, Practice Directors and services teams to align sales efforts with key solution offerings, maximizing project services utilization and client value.
- Oversee accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting in CRM, leveraging analytics to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with top industry leaders, including Microsoft, Databricks, Cisco and others to deliver innovative solutions and joint go-to-market programs.
- Work collaboratively with internal marketing, external partners, and practice leads to design and execute high-impact lead generation campaigns, marketing initiatives, and industry events.
- Lead and participate in weekly account review and coaching sessions, empowering account managers to develop top-tier client relationships and close complex deals.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to articulate the business value of AI assets and advanced technology solutions to clients, educating and enabling the sales team to position and sell these services effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics in the Western US, continuously refining sales strategies to capture new opportunities.
Skills and experience you bring to Long View:
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership position
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience in driving business outcomes with customers
- Proven success and strong relationships with partners to drive acquisition of net-new business
- Able to articulate value of AI assets to clients
