The Vice President of Sales Operations is responsible for driving efficiency, alignment, and performance across a high-velocity sales organization. This executive role will lead strategic planning, territory design, forecasting, sales enablement, CRM optimization, sales training and RFP operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader will be a key partner in integrating acquired companies, harmonizing sales processes, and unlocking scalable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Strategy & Planning: Own annual sales planning processes including quota setting, territory alignment, goal modeling, and incentive design.
• Revenue Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust forecasting frameworks across multiple business units and platforms. Work with the FP&A team to produce Board Ready revenue and forecasting data.
• Sales Enablement: Oversee onboarding, training, and performance coaching programs to ensure sellers are equipped to succeed.
• Technology & Data Optimization: Drive adoption and optimization of Salesforce, reporting dashboards, and sales engagement tools.
• M&A Integration: Lead the post-acquisition integration of sales teams, processes, and systems to accelerate time-to-revenue.
• RFP Team Management: Direct the RFP team responsible for enterprise-level proposal strategy, content development, and cross-functional coordination.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to execute the go-to-market strategy.
• Performance Management: Define and monitor KPIs that measure effectiveness, efficiency, and progress against sales targets.
Key Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or Revenue Operations.
• Proven leadership in scaling multi-segment, multi-product sales organizations (preferably in compliance, HCM, or SaaS industries).
• Experience overseeing RFP or proposal operations for enterprise sales teams.
• Expertise in Salesforce CRM and other sales technologies.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Track record of integrating sales teams post-acquisition.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence and drive alignment across the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Walk (occasionally), sit- up to 8hrs. a day, stand (occasionally), use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, able to lift-up to 15lbs.(occasionally).
