The VP of Sales will lead and develop a brand-focused sales team, driving performance and revenue growth through strategic initiatives and leadership.
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales (US) to lead our brand-focused sales team. As the VP of Sales, you will oversee a team of Brand Sellers and play a pivotal role in building tactical structure that enables the team to consistently exceed sales targets. This leadership position requires a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive both the tactical direction and operational execution of our sales initiatives.
Your primary goal will be to provide the vision, leadership, and direction to scale the sales function, optimize team performance, and expand our client base in the brand sector. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic thinking, sales acumen, and team development to ensure we continue to grow and lead in the digital economy.
Base salary: $190,000 - $210,000
OTE: $350,000 - $425,000
What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Brand Sellers to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
- Build a high-performance sales culture focused on collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and support to Sales Managers to ensure team success.
- Drive the recruitment and development of top-tier sales talent to meet business needs.
- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy focused on growing the brand sector and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Establish sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to track and optimize team performance.
- Create a sales playbook and structured processes to streamline lead generation, customer acquisition, and closing cycles.
- Identify new market opportunities and refine the go-to-market strategy to capitalize on emerging trends within the digital economy.
- Continuously assess the performance of the sales team and make data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive team to track progress against revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key brand clients and potential customers.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to establish thought leadership in the digital economy space.
Experience you can bring:
- 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in data analytics, technology, or digital economy sectors. 5+ years in sales management leading high performance teams. Demonstrated success in both strategic and hands-on sales roles, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and tackle tactical challenges as needed.
- Strong willingness to travel within the AMERICAS region to meet customers, partners, and team members.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong ability to define and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Naturally curious, self-starter, and a proactive problem solver.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.A results-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
