At R1 RCM, we are seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations who will be accountable for the strategy and oversight of several diverse operational teams across several RPS service lines.  This requires close collaboration with leaders across the RPS organization from Commercial Sales, Operations, to Client Delivery. 

Every day in this role you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the COE, ensuring excellent delivery domestically and globally, increasing customer satisfaction, and expanding initiatives for finding further opportunities with clients to drive value and increase margins.
  • Team management responsibilities include direct management of Senior Directors, Directors, and Managers responsible for production of COE members.  
  • Lead teams in enhancing operational efficiencies through cost optimization, improved operational processes, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Foster strong partnerships with leaders across the RPS organization, including Commercial Sales, Domestic Operations, Global Operations, Client Delivery, and other teams responsible for inflow generation, workflow management, client escalation, and global operations.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery both domestically and globally, driving successful customer outcomes and identifying opportunities to enhance client value and increase margins.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of direct relevant experience within healthcare provider operations, revenue cycle consulting, technology implementations, and/or process improvement; 8 years of people management experience
  • Ability to travel as needed; note that travel scheduling is flexible and determined in collaboration with SVP of Underpayments or as situations require in-person meetings including international travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment often with only high-level direction
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $173,519.37 - $274,007.40 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 30.00%
