Vice President of Public Sector Growth

This role leads our strategy to grow in the government sector. You will ensure we meet company goals by keeping clients, finding new ones, expanding our reach, and increasing sales over time.

What You'll Do:

  • Create and carry out our plan for growing in the government sector, working with other leaders.
  • Manage all sales activities, including finding new opportunities, sales operations, client management, marketing, partnerships, and government relations.
  • Lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to keep and grow our client base.
  • Develop plans to win new business and build strong relationships with government clients, potential clients, and advisors at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Become a trusted advisor to leaders in client organizations, related agencies, and government offices.
  • Help build relationships with key groups like industry associations and healthcare organizations.
  • Build professional connections that support our sales team.
  • Make sure sales and marketing goals are met or exceeded. This includes managing the department's budget and financial forecasts accurately.
  • Be a strong leader for the business unit, both inside and outside the company.

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 10 years of management experience in healthcare IT, services, or software.
  • Proven ability to create plans that lead to more market growth and higher sales over time.
  • Familiarity with how to develop business and manage contracts with state governments.
  • Experience building and leading teams of sales, partnership, and marketing professionals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills, including financial modeling, profit and loss (P&L) management, and using data to make decisions.
