Job Summary

Infodash is seeking a VP of Product to own the product vision, driving Infodash toward its next era as the defining AI-powered collaboration platform for law firms. This is a builder-first role. The right candidate will combine deep fluency in legal AI trends with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize, ship fast, and drive adoption in a high-growth environment where resources are finite and speed matters.

The VP of Product will partner with Engineering, Global Client Services, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a focused roadmap that drives measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong opinions about where legal technology is headed, credibility with law firm stakeholders, and a track record of shipping products that win in the market.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and champion a focused product vision rooted in the legal AI landscape. Track developments in generative AI, enterprise search, and adjacent categories, and translate that intelligence into product decisions.
  • Own the multi-year product roadmap, making deliberate build-vs.-buy-vs.-partner decisions based on where Infodash can differentiate versus where it should leverage Microsoft or third-party integrations.
  • Drive the evolution of Infodash’s AI capabilities, including platform integration and interoperability with leading AI tools.
  • Own the UI/UX experience and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and bring them to market ahead of competitors.

Product Execution & Operating Model

  • Establish and lead the product operating model, including planning cycles, release cadence, and prioritization.
  • Oversee and grow the product management team, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Global Client Services.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to rapidly prototype concepts and build leadership buy-in.
  • Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, retention, usage patterns, and revenue impact. Use data and experimentation to validate which features drive real engagement.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Lead Client Advisory Panels and innovation forums to capture the Voice of the Customer.
  • Engage directly with key clients, prospects, and partners to validate product direction.
  • Represent Infodash at industry events, client briefings, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Define Lighthouse programs to beta test new features with design partners.

Go-to-Market Alignment

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop value propositions, messaging, competitive positioning, and support major deals.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy across product SKUs, including evaluation of usage-based and tiered models as Infodash layers in AI capabilities.
  • Ensure product releases align with revenue goals and market opportunities.

Key Success Metrics

  • Cross-departmental alignment and influence on product initiatives.
  • On-time execution of the product roadmap with predictable release cadence.
  • Tangible impact on product adoption, client satisfaction, and revenue.
  • Measurable advancement of Infodash’s position as the leading legal AI collaboration platform within Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, JD, or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 3 years in senior leadership (Director, Sr. Director, or VP level).
  • Demonstrated product leadership within legal technology, legal AI, or adjacent enterprise SaaS markets serving law firms.
  • Proven track record of shipping products that drove measurable adoption and revenue growth.
  • Experience leading or building product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Comfortable operating with a lean team and scaling it over time.
  • Fluency with the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem and ability to articulate how Infodash extends that ecosystem for legal professionals.
  • Deep understanding of law firm workflows (matter management, document management, knowledge management, collaboration) and the broader legal technology ecosystem.
  • Strong working knowledge of generative AI applications in legal workflows, with the ability to translate emerging capabilities into practical use cases.
  • Hands-on comfort with AI-powered development and prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Replit). We don’t require an engineering background, but we expect a product leader who can use modern AI tools to rapidly build and test ideas.
  • Executive-level credibility with law firm CIOs, IT leaders, and senior partners.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, resource-constrained environment where decisions must be made quickly and with imperfect information.
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in AI/ML, product management, or cloud platforms are a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
