Position Overview: Vice President of Product

Seeq is seeking a visionary, hands-on Vice President of Product to define and execute the strategy for our growing product portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of industrial analytics and AI—driving innovation that delivers measurable impact to manufacturers worldwide.

As a key member of Seeq’s executive team, you will:

  • Lead the evolution of our product vision and roadmap.
  • Align business and technical strategies to maximize market impact.
  • Inspire, guide, and scale a talented team of Product Managers and UX Designers.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished product leader with deep roots in enterprise or industrial software, strategic clarity, and the ability to rally cross-functional teams around a shared vision.

About Seeq

Seeq is a global leader in industrial analytics and AI, helping process manufacturers transform time series data into actionable insight. Our solutions empower organizations in industries such as pharmaceuticals, energy, chemicals, and pulp & paper to achieve measurable results—reducing downtime, improving yield, minimizing waste, and driving sustainability.

Our product ecosystem includes:

  • The Industrial Analytics & AI Suite – purpose-built for advanced calculation, visualization, and reporting.
  • The Industrial Enterprise Monitoring Suite – designed for enterprise-scale monitoring, triage, and action across complex operations.

Together, these solutions help our customers unlock the full potential of their industrial data and accelerate digital transformation.

What You’ll Do

During your first six months, you’ll immerse yourself in our world—working alongside customers and partnering with our Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams to gain a deep understanding of our users, products, and mission.

Then, you’ll take the lead on:

  • Partnering with customers and market teams to identify manufacturing outcomes and translate them into clear, high-impact product priorities.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to define and refine product strategy.
  • Working hand-in-hand with our VP of Engineering, CTO, and engineering leaders to align roadmaps, optimize resources, manage technical debt, and deliver exceptional value.
  • Owning the product definition, vision, and roadmap—providing clarity on customer outcomes, business value, and delivery timelines.
  • Leading a high-performing product team that balances customer needs, business goals, and technical realities.
  • Communicating priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across all levels—from engineering teams to executives to customers.
  • Analyzing the competitive landscape in collaboration with our Market Team to ensure Seeq continues to lead in innovation and differentiation.
  • Bringing best-in-class product management methodologies to scale our ability to deliver functionality that delights customers.
  • Experimenting with new ways of working to bring development closer to our users.
This Role Is for You If...
  • You’re passionate about manufacturing and can translate process complexity into Seeq’s data-driven vision.
  • You thrive in B2B enterprise software, especially where technology enhances how people work.
  • You blend customer empathy with strategic foresight—seeing not just what the market needs today, but what it will demand tomorrow.
  • You’re a builder and innovator who identifies gaps, envisions new possibilities, and acts on them.
  • You can articulate product strategy with clarity and confidence across diverse audiences—including executives, customers, and partners.
  • You balance strategy and execution—driving bold initiatives while keeping teams grounded through experiments and data-driven decision-making.
  • You’re a practicing product leader, fluent in modern methodologies like Agile and Scrumban, and you know how to tailor them to B2B enterprise realities.
Who You Are
  • An inspiring, empathetic, and transparent leader who listens deeply and influences through trust, not authority.
  • A mentor who empowers teams to grow, experiment, and learn.
  • A clear, proactive communicator who adapts style and tone for every audience.
  • A collaborative problem solver who seeks alignment across teams and turns complexity into clarity.
  • Calm, composed, and confident representing the product organization in any forum—from boardrooms to customer meetings.
  • Curious, disciplined, and detail-oriented—you learn fast and think big.
  • Ready to travel occasionally (5–10 times per year) for customer meetings, partner visits, and Seeq’s annual company meetup.
  • Passionate about working with smart, driven people on products that promote sustainability and shape the future of manufacturing.
Why Seeq

At Seeq, you’ll join a company that’s both established and entrepreneurial—a place where innovation meets impact. You’ll help shape the next generation of industrial analytics software alongside talented colleagues, happy customers, and supportive investors.

If you’re driven by purpose, collaboration, and continuous learning, and want to make a real difference in how the world’s leading manufacturers operate—we’d love to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
