iRhythm is seeking a visionary Vice President, Procurement to lead our global procurement strategy and operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain and procurement capabilities, ensuring alignment with Corporate objectives and driving enterprise-wide value creation. You will oversee a $300M+ spend portfolio across Direct and Indirect categories, champion innovation, and build a world-class procurement organization that supports rapid growth and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision

    • Define and execute a comprehensive global procurement strategy aligned with iRhythm’s long-term business goals.

    • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to cross-functional strategic planning and decision-making.

    • Lead and scale the procurement function (Direct and Indirect) to support the rapid growth of the business, in a manner that maximizes contribution to the achievement of business objectives, profitability, and return on investment.

  • Enterprise Procurement Excellence

    • Lead transformation initiatives to elevate procurement maturity, including digitalization, automation, and strategic sourcing.

    • Drive enterprise-wide cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation strategies.

    • Implement best practices from standard category management and innovative approaches to identify and execute opportunities to drive cross-company savings and operational improvements in category management.

    • Work as a strategic business partner to develop and prioritize procurement change programs and projects to enable delivery of short- and long-term objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Influence and align stakeholders at all levels to drive procurement value and compliance.

    • Collaboration across all iRhythm functions, including but not limited to functional leaders across finance, IT, and manufacturing, to drive short- and long-term improvements in the P2P process, including automation, selective outsourcing, and/or leveraging strategic alliances to maximize ROI.

  • Supplier Relationship Management

    • Establish and nurture strategic supplier partnerships to ensure quality, innovation, and resilience across the supply base.

    • Oversee supplier performance management, contract negotiations, and governance.

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement organization with a focus on talent development and engagement.

    • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Risk & Compliance Oversight

    • Ensure procurement practices meet regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA) and support business continuity.

    • Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

What We Want To See

  • Proven executive leadership in procurement, with 20+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.

  • Deep expertise in the Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech industries, with strong knowledge of regulatory environments.

  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide procurement transformations and delivering measurable business impact.

  • Exceptional communicator and influencer, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving innovation and operational efficiency.

  • Experience managing global supplier networks and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

  • Prior experience in developing and implementing category strategies and sourcing efforts for indirect procurement areas such as IT, capex, marketing, facilities, and services is required.

  • Prior experience in contributing to automation and/or process improvement in the P2P process of a rapidly growing company

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range

$238,000.00 - $310,000.00
