You will have a significant voice in shaping our People strategy and culture while partnering closely with senior leadership. This role offers the chance to build a high-bar, scalable People function from the ground up and have direct influence on the future of our organization.
What You'll Accomplish
Strategic People Leadership
- Build and own Eve’s People function across all areas: talent development, performance, total rewards, engagement, culture, and People operations
- Partner with the executive team to define organizational strategy, workforce planning, and long-term hiring needs
- Establish scalable systems, processes, and policies that reinforce a high-performance, high-trust culture
Performance, Compensation & Growth
- Lead annual performance, compensation, and promotion cycles from strategy through execution
- Develop career frameworks, leveling guides, and manager enablement programs aligned with company goals
- Partner with leadership on compensation philosophy, equity strategy, and benchmarking tools (e.g., Pave)
Employee Experience & Culture
- Design and run engagement surveys, synthesize insights, and track progress over time
- Own employee relations, partnering closely with managers on coaching, development, and conflict resolution
- Serve as a champion for a culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and operational excellence
People Operations & Compliance
- Build and refine processes for onboarding, offboarding, and the full employee lifecycle
- Oversee HRIS administration, reporting, People systems, and documentation
- Maintain compliant policies in partnership with legal, with deep familiarity in California and multi-state employment law
- Ensure People Operations is scalable, data-driven, and highly effective

- A strong generalist with deep expertise in performance management, compensation design, and HR fundamentals

- A systems thinker passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences backed by operational rigor
- Experienced with modern People tools such as Pave, TriNet, or related platforms
- Hands-on, resourceful, and eager to roll up your sleeves and build from zero to one
