We have built a great reputation on award-winning creativity, great service, and a fun and energetic culture—and we may be looking for you to join our team!

Art Machine is looking for one dynamic individual to research, identify, prospect, and land new business opportunities to help grow our brand division.

ABOUT US

Art Machine was formed in 1999 as a digital and print entertainment agency. In 2007, to diversify, we began working with brands and merged with entertainment agency, Trailer Park. Over the years, Art Machine has worked clients like Universal Theme Parks, Fiat Chrysler Automotive, the LA Rams, San Diego Zoo, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Kumho Tire, and the LA Clippers.

WORK MIX

Our mix of work has varied over the years to include broadcast, print, social, digital, brand identity and content. In 2018, based on internal changes at our agency, we pulled back on building brand, but are now re-starting that initiative. One of the advantages to our parent company, Trailer Park Group, is that so many disciplines (from editorial to motion to print to director needs) are all in-house.

CULTURE

We have a fun, energetic and fast-paced culture (which we all thrive on) – but have also built our brand business organically– and our culture reflects that. We respect individual talents while always identifying as a TEAM first. We share a desire to build campaigns that generate buzz for clients, which leads to growth for them and for us. We are open to clients in any industry, both B2B and B2C. Our focus is on exceptional creative, at lightning pace, with humility.

  • Create a range of proposal materials including capabilities decks and two-pagers
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients
  • Develop roadmap to pitching and closing new business, in close collaboration with account and creative leads
  • Identify possible processes and resources to drive efficiency and efficacy for all new business opportunities
  • Proactively provide updates on prospects, confidence levels, and help forecast upcoming revenue

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
