At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.

As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.

At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.

Why Offchain?

Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.

Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.

Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.

To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.

What is the role:

Offchain is looking for a VP of Marketing who can turn the growing adoption of blockchain technology into a clear market narrative, build a high-performing marketing function, and drive execution across brand, communications, product marketing, content, social, partner marketing, demand generation, and marketing operations.

This leader will build the commercial marketing infrastructure required to connect activity to business outcomes. They will establish attribution, lifecycle tracking, campaign measurement, lead management, and reporting systems from the ground up, giving Offchain a clear view of how marketing contributes to enterprise pipeline, ecosystem adoption, monetizable activity, and revenue objectives.

We are looking for a vigilant, hands-on operator. Someone who sees the market moving, spots the story before it’s obvious, writes and edits with precision, and turns strategy into shipped work quickly.

This person should be as comfortable shaping a founder keynote or editorial thesis as they are reviewing launch copy, tightening a campaign brief, assessing funnel performance, coaching a team member, or pushing a cross-functional project over the line.

The right candidate has led marketing in a high-growth technology environment, understands crypto or is deeply motivated to learn it. They know how to build a narrative system and a measurable growth engine. They know when language is too vague, when the funnel is not working, and when a team needs clearer operating rhythms.

The work must be technically grounded, human in delivery, and anchored in clear business outcomes for the customer segments we serve.

What you'll do:

    Marketing leadership and team building
  • Lead the marketing function across brand, product marketing, communications, content, social, partnerships, campaigns, and creative.

  • You are biased toward action.

  • Establish clear priorities, roles, OKRs, launch calendars, review processes, and feedback loops.

  • Build a team culture that values speed, clarity, creativity, ownership, and high standards.

  • Manage and mentor a team across multiple workstreams while remaining close enough to the work to improve it directly

  • Build and grow the marketing team thoughtfully, knowing when to hire, when to level up existing contributors, and how to create role clarity without slowing execution.

  • Create the operating structure required for fast execution, clear decision-making, strong cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes.

  • Demand generation, marketing infrastructure, and revenue impact
  • Build Offchain’s demand generation and marketing operations capabilities from the ground up, including lead capture, CRM architecture, audience segmentation, qualification, scoring, nurture, lifecycle tracking, routing, and business development handoff.

  • Establish full-funnel attribution that connects campaigns, content, events, partnerships, web activity, product engagement, and executive channels to enterprise pipeline, customer adoption, monetizable activity, and revenue.

  • Partner with business development, product, data, and finance to define revenue objectives, funnel stages, shared KPIs, service-level expectations, and reporting standards.

  • Create clear systems for tracking where demand comes from, how prospects and partners progress, which programs influence conversion, and where investment should increase or change.

  • Build dashboards and reporting rhythms that make marketing performance visible to leadership and actionable for the team.

  • Develop a disciplined experimentation framework for identifying and scaling new sources of qualified demand, monetizable volume, customer adoption, and revenue.

  • Balance near-term commercial objectives with the long-term growth and health of the Arbitrum ecosystem.

  • Brand, communications, and executive thought leadership
  • Establish Offchain, and associated products as credible voices in the evolution of programmable markets, tokenization, financial infrastructure, and blockchain adoption.

  • Partner with founders, executives, PR, product, BD, and ecosystem teams to develop high-quality communications across earned, owned, and partner channels.

  • Guide founder and executive storytelling across op-eds, interviews, panels, social, and strategic announcements.

  • Build a stronger editorial engine, including essays, reports, partner stories, market commentary, launch narratives, and recurring content franchises.

  • Ensure external communications are precise, defensible, and grounded in real product value.

  • Campaigns, partnerships, and market intelligence
  • Develop and execute high-impact campaigns across owned, earned, paid, partner, and executive channels.

  • Build partner marketing motions that make strategic launches feel larger, clearer, and more commercially relevant.

  • Monitor market shifts, competitor moves, policy conversations, institutional adoption, developer behavior, and media narratives.

  • Turn market intelligence into fast action: messaging updates, executive talking points, campaign ideas, social responses, partner opportunities, and content angles.

  • Operate with urgency without sacrificing accuracy.

  • Measurement and commercial impact
  • Define how marketing success is measured across awareness, narrative adoption, developer engagement, partner amplification, qualified demand, enterprise pipeline, web traffic, launch performance, network growth, monetizable activity, and revenue contribution.

  • Build reporting habits that show what is working, what needs to change, and where marketing is creating measurable business impact.

  • Guide the team in using data to improve campaigns, content, channels, audience strategy, conversion, and resource allocation.

  • Manage budget, marketing technology, vendors, and agency relationships with discipline.

What you'll need:

  • 10 to 15+ years of marketing experience, ideally across high-growth technology, fintech, infrastructure, developer platforms, crypto, or enterprise software.
  • A minimum of 5 years leading marketing teams across brand, product marketing, communications, content, campaigns, social, demand generation, marketing operations, or go-to-market.
  • Experience building marketing functions that are structured, fast, accountable, and capable of supporting multiple products and audiences.
  • The ability to operate strategically while remaining close to execution, editing, systems, and team development.

Perks:

  • Remote-first global workforce + NY office.
  • Annual company offsite + team onsites.
  • Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more).
  • Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries).
  • 401k retirement plan + company match (US only).
  • Wellness stipend.
  • Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
